Alright, I'm gonna say why I like this, and I would hope that other sim guys who strive for realism can agree with me, if not, I'm really not sure what people want anymore.
Looking past all the negative comments in here, i'll say this, some people might NEVER be satisfied. Saying that, here's why i'm on my way to satisfaction...
This screen tells me a few things. You'll have dynamic owner goals presented to you. This means that sometimes you'll have to change your strategy for the upcoming season to please your owner, or, you can do things your way and risk him getting pissed at you, but i'm sure he'll deal with it if you can still win a title.
Second, it forces you to rethink the way you play basketball video games. Your owner wants you to get younger? So he asks you to make some trades to acquire high draft picks? If you want to please him, what do you do? Do you give up some key veteran pieces to get some high picks in the draft? Or do you stick with that old core and try to make one more run at a title?
Maybe the owner wants you to bring in some veterans before the deadline to make a big playoff push? You never know how these dynamic owner/player/coach/media interactions will affect the entire makeup of your team. Personally, that's the big picture with all of this and i'm looking right at it; And i'll tell you this, I'm more than excited to find out what else is in store for this mode.

I'm with you. Very excited to see the potential of this mode if its handled properly and the GM AI across the league is good. My frustration is with the trickling and teasing of information rather than the direction that 2k seems to be headed.
