Anyone know what % of the story needs to be done to get all the needed weapons/upgrades to complete all the side missions?

I'm currently at the part of murder at Lacey Tower.

Not having Disarm & Destroy really makes fights annoying. I think I gotta do a specific side mission to get it. But whatever.

Finally got free flow focus unlocked!. Truns out when you go to the GCPD to get the Disrupter. The 1st cop upon entering. Doing a vent takedown unlocked it for me.


As it gave me a grade a as it claims the threat was high. I may have to do a separate file when finished with story to see if this is how u actually unlock it.

With that out of the way. Couple questions I have.

#1 where is the places in the story mode to do the required predoter takedowns? That are in the challenge sections.

I'm talking about the ones where u do 4 takedown types like explosive gel takedown vent takedown & serverl of the others simlier to that as I don't want to.miss those.

So could u tell me the best place to meet those requirements?


Also once I get to rank 15 where u do the 50x combo without being hit & the 15 verations.

Can u do these in seprate flights like in one do the 15 verations & other the 50combo.

Or must they be in same fight? & once I complete the 50x combo without being hit. Say I get hit doing the 15 verations would I still unlock or beat the challenge? Or do I need to do both without being hit?

& where the best place to do.this requirement I hear blackgate prison? Any other places u reccomened? Thanks

Hmmm, I dont know folks, it seems like I'm missing something here (certain gadgets?). I've cleared the outside of the boat, but when I go inside I cant get past the open spaces. It seems like I'm missing a tight rope wire to walk across or something? Any suggestions?

I just love the game. The controls in terms of movement and combat is smoother. The game world and design is very similar to AC but how much can a place change in a few years given that Batman is always in the same city. He is not a roaming global super hero saving the world. He is a home body essentially when it comes to his town and I dig that.

However, perhaps changing the season/time of year would have made a difference instead of the snow and cold again. The story is very good as it is and I like the Christmas eve thing but a different angle could have had the young dark knight carrying out his crime fighting whilst also contending with a freak summer heat wave or something just to make a change to the game world. May have made little difference I don't know but just a thought.

Well the point of the winter setting was so they can have a winter storm and have all civilians indoors.

I pray for the day we get a Batman game GTA style.

I just got to the point leading up to and after the Bane fight. All of that is just top notch Batman stuff.

There's some bugs and quirks on this game but IMO it's almost every bit as good as Arkham City was.

I'm also seriously addicted to completing all of the side missions and challenges.

I'm not quite at the point of obsession with completing everything like I was with Arkham Asylum and City, but this game is still great. I think for me, it's more or less the fact that I'm too excited for the PS4 next week to really eek every bit of enjoyment out of this title.

I'm only up through the steel mill section, and just went through the Mad Hatter area. I'm really liking the story in this game.

I got a very serious question I need a reply to..

I have read you can do the 50 combo in one fight & the 15 verations later on. Is this true?

I ask because I took some damege in blackgate prison cuz of the guys in there plus the big hulk do with one bar left I beat him.

With that said I took damege eariler in.the fight but was still albe to get the 50x combo later in the fight so I supposely got this out of the way.

Once I get the 15 verations would the challenge still count cuz I got the 50x combo? Even after I had damage b4 finally getting it?

& if so can I now do the 15 variations superate or do they have to b in same fight?

Another ? Is after completing the story is there a good place to go in the city where there no shield guys but a couple armored guys & a couple thugs

Cuz it appears u can't take any damage if so I'm screwed as I got the 50 combo but got hit before I actually got it.

I think they rigged this & it's really stupid to say take no damage period instead it should be just getting the 50 combo & 15 variations.

The no damage thing is stupid & should be removed via patch. Cuz I counter & still get hit..


I noticed I got a 15 variations in.a fight but do they have to be 15 different things or can.u use same stuff?

Also when trying to do this I always get screwed by the guys with guns is there any place in.the city to do this without taking damage. As in less guys with weapons & larger space areras?

I need some help I found a perfect place in the diamond district to get the 50x multiplier

It has 2armored thugs & 5 regular thugs & no other weapons but a machine gun & the 2 gun crates.

1st would this be considered a medium or high threat level?

2nd I can disable all 6 guns with 3 disrupter recharges for a total of 6 as I can.let it charge both blocks with each block it takes about 2 mins each.

After all guns are disabled they can't use em as the crate is empty cuz the yellow is gone from detective mode.

I hear you can get a 40 combo just by focusing on the 2 thugs & then finishing it off by taking out the other thugs is this true.

If so how do I beat up on both armored thugs to keep from losing the multiplier & is it even possible to beat on one.finishing him then beat down on him without the multiplier restting?

Does the multiplier reset once the shock.gloves die out or can.u still.keep it?

I'm thinking of using glue grenade to.immobilize 3 thugs then throw smoke pallets & then activate shock gloves I hoping that will do the trick.

Also I beat the black mask side mission & have the longer smoke time but haven't noticed a difference. How do I work this as it seems like it.the same duration but feel the longer one would help out.


Does anyone have some good advice on how to get this or will the plan above actually work.

If u have an easier idea please share it.

Good news is if I fail I can restart & the crime in progress will resapwn with same group of thugs every time!! I just have to wait till the crime in progress shows up & it in the same spot too!!

Hoping to get this does asap as I am almost finished & can get the dark knight suit!! Thanks to those who help!

Are you referring to the PS3 version? Cuz there no new patch out. The only patch that came out was last week version 1.03! So are you sure it's a new one?
