The main reason I am leaning towards the Xbox One over the PS4 is because of the online servers. I have more trust in the online aspect of Xbox Live vs PS Plus

LOL @ sony needs better franchises...Umm anything Naughty dog has done alone blows away anything that was on 360, there is Gran turismo (11 + million seller), last of us, uncharted, killzone, infamous, God of war, the show plus more varied and unique experiences like heavy rain, journey.

Xbox was GEars, halo forze, and thats about it....There is a reason PS3 outsold 360 WWW espite 14 month later launch and higher price.

I never owned an xbox, but I don't get why people are having issues with ps3 online? The only issues I've dealed with either had to deal with p2p connected games or games that are known for bad online issues. I never had an issue with psn. Now its paid, I think it will be more stable.

PS3 had the 3 highest rated exclusives this entire gen, Uncharted 2, last of us and Metal Gear Solid 5. PS3 also had by far the hightest number of 90+ rated exclusives on metacritic. MS cannot compete with sony's first party studios, thus their reliance on third party deals and DLC, and massive PR and marketing.

Yep, had a 360 for 2 years brfore my ps3, never found online different on either one....more myths spread by xbox fans...Only thing was xbox had party chat, ps4 has it. In fact laggiest game of last gen online??? GEars of war 2.

If your a baseball fan at all, then Im not sure how you cannot have a PS console. Its why I switched in 09 to the PS3 was because I needed a baseball game.
Glad to hear that the PS4 is a great system and sounds like its a lot better than the Xbox1. I doubt I will be buying a PS4 anytime soon unfortunately do to finances, but when I do get the money that will be the system I buy.

For me BF4 , NBA 2k14 , MLB 14 the show , Watchdogs , EA UFC nothing more will be needed..even if i can finish all those games

Yes. He said PS4 is an improvement from PS3 dev and controller wise, And there's fanboys for both Sony and MS in the office.

Yeah, just to be clear. I have nothing against XBOne. It's a great system. I was just trying to communicate that I like the PS4 much more than the PS3 (both in terms of development and the controller.) When I stated that I was a convert, it's because for the last 2 gens I've primarily been an Xbox gamer, but this gen I can see myself playing a lot of PS4.

The unanimous comment was NOT that the entire company or dev team favored PS4 over XB1, I was trying to say that everyone in the office agrees that the PS4 is a great system. That's all.

And yes, it's true that a couple people in the office are Sony fanboys and won't touch the Xbox 1... but it's also true that some people in the office are MS fanboys and won't touch the PS4.

Hope that clears some things up a bit.

Another thing I should add... just because I was praising Sony, that doesn't mean I don't also love what MS did with the Xbox One. The controller upgrades are really nice, especially the feel and function of the Impact triggers and analog sticks. A definite improvement over 360, which I also loved.

NBA 2K14 will look and play great on both systems... there's no "inferior" version. Just as all console wars, it will come down to the games, personal preferences, and what you're looking to get out of your console.

I wouldn't let anything I said in that interview sway you one way or the other... personally, I'm still on the fence as to which console to get first. But really, I don't think you can go wrong with either.
