the cloud thing isn't cemented. Sony could change its strategy and offer a more capable cloud. I'm not saying better than xbo, but good enough to last. I see both consoles going cloud. They need to if this gen is going to last almost a decade like the ps3 and 360 did. There is no way another gen lasts that long without cloud gaming or additional cloud support to help process games.

Yes but it would take years for Sony to build it up. They currently are only renting the servers, where as Micrsoft has invested billions worldwide into their own cloud servers.

It still would be done. It'll just come at a premium. Both there's no way they both don't have it say like eight years down the line.

I wonder if 2k will put MS Azure (free) dedicated servers to use and definitely will improve their online (it would be nice for a change) or perhaps won't they be allowed to let the PS4 version down?... TBH This is what I am really more interested in...

LMAO I saw people saying but Da power of MS cloud???? Wow, people are that gullible? The cloud is notihng but BS ms marketing. Why is cod 720p on x1 if it has Da cloud?? Same as ttian fall (Ill play it on PC).? Cloud gaming is NOT a n ms thing. People saying like xbox controller better, 4th time I have said this...the PS4 controlelr was totally revamped, bigger, longer handles, different analog stick,s new revamped triggers. How can you like something you never even owned?? People who hated ds3, found it too smalll, say it's as good , and maybe even better then the xbox controller. Many reviews online.

Weaker, doesn;t have sony's qiuality first party studios...look at ps3, if anything, 360 got worse and worse as ms foccused on kinect and abandoned any new ip's on 3670 for years,. Ps3 got better and better.The power gap will be more noticeable as games get more demanding. There is a significant gap in power this gen.

What power gap? Microsoft will be able to unload processing onto their Azure servers in the future, there won't be any power gap in Sony's favour.

Anyone who believes da cloud marketing will believe anything ms tells them. Cloud wont improve graphics at least not for 10-15 years. Right now it will just be for dedicated servers.

Sony already has cloud servers, sony has a LOT of datacentres, and can easily rent them if needed.. Da cloud won't make a lick of difference.

Also, no third party devs will split the user base, what will happen ina game when yuo play offline? Those people get a worse version?? it is Simply not happening. That is why COd is 720p on x12 and 1080P on PS4 and looks considerably better. MS PR and brainwashing at it s best, im amazed some still dont see through it.

Sony was using their cloud for day 1 digital, cloud saves before Microasoft.

I was trying to post to this when this first broke but was in train and having page loading issues so I just gave up but that being said, I was going to post asking Beluba did M$ blowup his phone yet and when can we expect the cleanup job. Lol.

MDub just spoke from the heart and it's obvious he's at least subconsciously 'picked a side' for next gen but a man in his position has to walk the line. Other gaming house devs and such have seemed to be heavily in favor of the PS4 just like with current gen, most leaned toward the 360. It's mostly about ease of development balanced with what they can get the most out of, console architecture wise but of course individuals in a dev team are going to have their faves based on whatever reasons. It is what it is.

That being said, NEXT FRIDAY IT'S ON WITH MY PS4 AND NBA 2K14!!!
