Which game is easier for a total noob? Live or 2K?

I am a Madden player but Madden looks very disappointing for next gen so I was thinking of getting 2K14 since its looks amazing. I have never played it before so I was wondering which game is easier between Live and 2K for someone to play and not totally suck. Would love some advice thanks!

Tough to say, we havent seen gameplay or got to actually play Live since NBA Elite demo so we have no clue of what to expect and how the controls will be. Well we did see Live 13 gameplay but never had hands on time with it for control purposes.

I can tell you now that nba 2k series has gotten more advanced over the years to where it may be a learning curve for new comers to master the advanced controls. As far as doing different types of shots and moves in the paint. Can't say much about live because it's been a few years since the last installment

Understatement of the year brother. When Coach Mode was removed I tried to play the game with the controller and can't tell you how many times that controller got throw across the room. I did play NBA Live 08 and 09 and they were MUCH more user friendly and intuitive (for old men at least).
