Prospect CAPs Counting Against Roster Size?

I created some NCAA and European prospects that are unsigned (Jankowski, Di Giuseppe, Ullmark, etc.) and they are all counting against the roster as signed players in Be A GM. Resulting in the CPU making undesired roster moves.

I have set the CAPs to the same contract as some of the unsigned CHL prospects, $.550 and 1 way contract and they still show as signed players counting against the roster.

Is there some trick that I am missing?

    Please Help. Thanks guys.

This has been a bug with the past few games. This years edition I have tried multiple different approaches, but for the life of me I am unable to get it to wwork properly.

This is one reason I have yet to start a gm mode. This can be fixed by editing the gm roster file. We will need to edit the players with contracts in the CHL, plus the prospects the game auto-signs, back to unsigned status.
We have to wait for Artem to get this working in NHLView, you can do it now with the generic editor, but not all info is shown or known with that.

I thought Ullmark was already on Modo. I read somewhere to create player, move to custom team then to a euro team. Not sure if this works or not.

Hi, what are you guys doing for the potential ratings? I've been using NHLView to do some of my own roster edits and creating players but there is no way (that I can see) to edit their potential from NHLView. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
