I just made a post addressing the same tactic used in-game in reference to presentation, some don't bother with it so Tiburon doesn't focus on it. Seems like the same extreme being espoused in relation to devs interacting with forums, if everyone posting isn't uniform and in agreement, the devs won't bother. That's being petty and unreasonable, this is a message board, not an actual vocal public forum where people can scream out obscenities or physically attack someone.

I notice people hark back to how things went when Ian interacted on OS about Madden and going back to look at it, I think that "mistreatment" gets blown out of proportion too. Again, this is a adequately moderated message board, where any blatantly offensive posts/posters are dealt with, no need to avoid the boards entirely. Chase B and DCEBB have carried on entire Madden threads where the interact with OS about their personal work, even with those that disagree with it, without taking their ball home.

It's like some people want there to be special rules for approaching Madden and those affiliated with creating it, that gets propagated at times. I refuse to accept that notion and hold Madden and its' staff to the same basic standard of other sports sims and their staff.
im referring only to people who dont offer anything constructive, by just saying "madden sucks, 2k8 was better" and i think thats what the poster i quoted was also saying. but when half the posts dont actually say anything useful, it can get frustrating.

now in your case, you posted your issue, and then gave logical reasoning to back it up. i have no problem at all with that. in fact, i would encourage it, because thats how it gets done. but for example if i grill a steak for someone, and they just say "it sucks, my wife makes it better" does that help me make a better steak next time? the same goes for someone saying "it was great". what about it was great? it obviously isnt perfect, so tell me what i should keep and what i should change.
