Something that's always bothered me about 2K games are when players going into animations of full on chest passes or overhead/baseball passes to a teammate that's only a few feet away or less. I'm still seeing that here, which is unfortunate.

Still, overall I think they've done a tremendous job with this...they could have very well just phoned this one in and released a higher-res/slightly updated version of current gen like some other companies are doing with their sports titles, but they didn't. Some real significant effort clearly went into this, so some definite appreciation here for that.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this gives me a hype level of 5. I'm sure seeing the visuals in person would change that, but man, it sure LOOKS like a typical 2k basketball game. Passing seems goofy and last-gen-ish. The movement looks sluggish... I know I probably have to feel it to judge this, but player movement isn't appealing to me.

Gotta say, some of the jumpers look really nice.

2. So you're only gonna watch interviews in NBA 2k14, I thought it was a basketball game wth 2k!

The halftime interview was awesome. But lets be honest. After seeing it a handful of time, we're just going to bypass it anyways.

Also, I wonder if it'll just be the star player on every team who they'll interview. It'd be cool if they interviewed anybody...whoever the leading scorer of that half was, etc. Doubt it tho.

*Edit* Nevermind, just saw the 600 voices thing.

I don't know man, im becoming a presentation guy. im getting to where I don't button through a lot of that sort of stuff and just enjoy it. it kinda of immerses me into my games. you know how you have the accessories guys that freak out over not having the right knee pad or sock length when playing? well I don't get upset but im starting to enjoy cut scenes and presentation elements in that way.

cool the interview there but it really didnt look good at all, especially the character model of the lady making it wasnt on paar with the player models, she looked a lot like early last gen to me.

All the cameras that are in Current Gen are in Next Gen. Although I've been working on tweaking the Beluba camera over the past few days. Undecided on whether to patch it into 14 or wait til next year.

Exactly, weren't they going on and on about how they started from scratch with the nextgen gameplay. Doesn't look like it to me. Looks about the same with some added elements. The only differences are the graphics (which imo aren't that important since only replay mode really does them justice) and features/presentation (which look nice and all but that's not enough to make me buy a 700$ console).
