How does someone go about getting their league hosted by the site? I would like to gather more players for the league that I am an admin in, but don't want to be banned for doing so.

You may have noticed, if you have posted recently, that your posts aren't showing up. There is a valid reason for this:

ALL THREADS IN THIS FORUM NOW MUST BE APPROVED BY A MODERATOR

"Why?" you ask? Simply put, we will not be allowing ANY ADVERTISING OR RECRUITING FOR ANY OFF SITE LEAGUES. In a nutshell, if you don't see a sub forum for your league above this thread, then your thread will not be approved.

HOW DO I GET A SUB FORUM FOR MY LEAGUE?

I'm glad you have inquired. As of February 8th, 2013, you must be an OS Supporter to run a league on Operation Sports. To find out how to become a Supporter, CLICK ME

You may PM myself, Millennium, to request a league sub forums. Sub forums are normally created each weekend, so if you don't get it the same night, give it through a weekend and it should be up and running. YOU MAY NOT RUN YOUR LEAGUE ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE IN ADDITION TO OS. If I find out you are, you will be banned from Operation Sports.

Any existing leagues run by non-Supporters will be grandfathered in until they become inactive, at which point they will be deleted.

INACTIVE LEAGUE SUB FORUMS

A league becomes "inactive" when it has not had a post in one month. If your sub forum shows it's last post as being over one month old, it can, and will, be deleted without notification.

I'M A USER LOOKING FOR A LEAGUE, HOW DO I FIND ONE?

The open threads in this forum will be created by league commissioners looking for players. Post in one of those, or PM a league commissioner.

SPAMMING OPEN THREADS

If you decide to try and post your advertisements to another league in any of the open threads, you will be immediately and permanently banned from Operation Sports.

Ok, so just so that I know that I have this straight...To be able to say "Hey I have so and so league who wants to join it." You have to pay at least $20 to be allowed to do this?

To have an OS hosted league site. Which is all we allow (unfortunately we had a few bad apples trying to farm our forums for members)

There are many people who simply gave $20 to just have a blue name, custom avatar, and show OS they enjoy the website and want to contribute a small token appreciation.

If you don't feel it is worth it ($20 to have a league sub forum) and the idea is not one you would entertain let's just leave it at that.

In other words, do I need a premium account to recruit/ advertise a created Madden community on OS?

If you want to create a thread designed just for play now games and the like you're free to make one. The supporter status is needed for those who get a specific sub forum created for their online league.

Just a friendly reminder: absolutely no off-site league advertising will be allowed on Operation Sports.

Why can't I advertise my league here without having the league hosted on OS?

It makes zero sense for OS to allow members to come on the site and freely pull members away to their own websites.

My bad guys. I think have posted on this site looking for users but was unaware of this rule. How can out league post on here with any issues with mods?

We're looking for users but for whatever reason they're hard to find. Used to be people lining up

Anyway let me know if its possible to join the site and how to do it. If thats a no-go then sorry to waste your time.
