Re: NBA 2K14 Real Voices Trailer

I just hope they didn't edit LaMarcus Aldridge down to a 'clean' take.

Not making fun of the guy, but I, y'know, want the, y'know, authentic, y'know, LA interview experience, y'know?

If there are multiple clips of Andre Miller, I might have to bring him back to Portland too. "Some icing, jacuzzis, and rest" will have him ready to replicate his 52 point game from 2010.

Some people are complaining about the superman pose. I'm watching the LSU vs Bama, Nick Saban does a pregame interview doing what, the superman pose. He does it again at halftime. Just saying.

Live completely started over with next gen somewhat like 2k said they did.. Based on everything said and seen nba live will be a solid game and nba 2k will be similar to current gen with better foot planting and player interviews not that's a bad thing

I remember how excited I was to hear NFL 2K 5 post game interviews....

Only to hear Brady sound totally different, lol..

This is a great feature, IMO. And they've done it right, using the real voices.

So LA is a "you know" guy? Didnt know that. I hate listening to those guys in interviews. You know, you know, you know.

Kudos to the 2K team for implementing this. Cool that they got the players to voice [whatever lines they did] and there doesn't appear to be any weird fluctuations in tone between the players from the small sample in the video

To the casual NBA fan, Gerald Wallace is a household name. The others you mentioned are not. That's the point.

Reality still hasn't set in for me yet. I know this is a dope feature, but I don't think I will understand exactly to what immensity of greatness it will be until I witness it firsthand on Friday. I cannot wait.

That's because the sound is from actual games. No players recorded "lines"

Maybe 5-6 years ago, now? Any casual fan will either tell you Rajon Rondo or Jeff Green are the most well known players on that team.

I know tons of casual basketball fans, most of them don't even know Gerald Wallace is still in the league

                            This is the hope.

When NFL 2K games introduced things like The Crib, first-person football, SportsCenter highlights, halftime reports and post-game interviews, I was hoping that these would only be built on, not completely disregarded in future iterations.

Of course, after 2K5 there was only APF 2K8, and although it was no longer an NFL game and they were changing everything about it, every one of these things had been scrapped. They were cheesy before, but they had time to get better.

Let's hope this is a "first of many years" thing, because I certainly hope it will get better and better. This is already super awesome, don't can it!!!

I wonder if this is something that can be expanded on throughout the year? Add new audio as the season progresses via updates? Either way, this a VERY nice addition 2 the series. Looking forward to seeing it live. Good job 2K

This is an 'impressive' feature but is it really worth the memory is all I'm wondering. I know I'd personally skip it after a couple of games. Especially since players always say the same 'we used our screens', 'defense to offense' or 'protect the ball'.

Though from the looks of it, 2K are putting minimum time into this to make it simple and to the point without detailed animations/poses. Which is a good thing.
