I already said it on the Live forums there are just some folks that are too subjective when it comes to these things. I'll see one dude have nothing but exceptance over there no matter what without needing any proof but then they come over here and second guess everything that's said. People are just bias, what are you gonna do?

It's one thing to be subjective. It's fine of you just like Live's gameplay better and are willing to stick with that.

It's complete irrationality to hold 2K to lofty standards that Live doesn't come close to meeting.

Live is the most robotic, stiff, awkward, not-next gen looking game play outside of static dribbling I've seen in three years. Only because Live hasn't made a game since Live 10.

I really don't understand. Can one of these Live clowns explain this. How can you possibly criticise 2k for something then give Live a pass for that same area when it is CLEARLY worse? It's just illogical.

You don't get it, hes praising Live hoping it will be just an upgrade version of Live 10 but bashes 2K14 for not being real lifelike basketball yet 2K's gameplay been superior for years... To each of their own, but if you made up your mind on buying Live why does he keep coming back to the 2K threads and whine?

If it was just a port, the game wouldn't have amazing next gen graphics, better foot planting, half time interviews, new game modes like GM mode and the Park..

I have a feeling all these whiners are just people who cant afford next gen consoles at launch or wasted 60 bucks on the current gen version so they have to complain....I sense jealousy

No game is going to be perfect, 2k14 NG will come with its flaws and glitches but to say its a port which is confirmed not to be one is a joke...

Lol your really angry over my opinion. I won't be day 1 purchaser of next gen don't know which system I prefer yet. While I can afford a next gen console, I'm in college and do get a nice college refund check but as tempting as it is don't want to waste money (IMO) on a system I can't get around to playing or purchase a distraction for myself right now. Also I am slightly disappointed with purchasing 2k this year, it ain't that great yet, I'm dying for a game update! The controls kinda ruin it for me as well think if they'd have left last years controls with this years gameplay it would have been so much better.

All in all none of that has anything to do with my opinion on the game. All you did was restate the things I credited about the games progression. But when you see the way the game actually plays is there much difference? Aside from the glamorous graphics and halftime interview, whats new?

If u hated my opinion before your gonna scream when I say the more I see 2k next gen the more I think it doesn't look that much better than live.

You were right until that last part. Saying 2K's gameplay is better is clearly an opinion. We haven't seen Live in action (I'm not counting trailers) so for all we know their gameplay can end up being more realistic that 2K's. Granted, it won't be nearly as smooth or pretty, but you're just being irrational. It's ignorant to assume 2K's gameplay will be better based off of their reputation when their product has it's fair share of problems. But that's besides the point, what you said was not a fact. 2K not being a port, on the other hand, is.

Lol you want to 2k, how do u 2k lol. Can u teach me how to 2k? Lol. But stop twisting my opinion. I have no agenda, I'm just callin it like I see it. You seem to have an agenda, so since your all up in arms about this, aside from the glamorous things you see what so different? It's literally the same exact game play as current gen, with hopefully more animations and and hopefully better physics. I still see unrealistic passes, screens on spots instead of screening actual players, and other things I can already complain about on current gen.

Another thing Idk how the dude below you thought u had anything right or made any coherent point lol. If you read what I wrote then what you wrote you sound like a bitter scorned lover lol, and haven't even addressed anything I actually said. Never said anything about lives gameplay hasn't seen enough. I need to see a defensive sequence to judge. What I was referring to was graphics. The graphics aren't looking like the trailers made them look(IMO)).

Yes i said it along with others i didn't go out and say the game is horrible did i? no it'll be a great game

but gameplay wise im not seeing a load of difference in rebounding and other things granted they're 2 min clips but still

I used to use the skybox camera I believe in 2k9 because when you have the ball on the wing in the 2k camera, the other side is cut off. I relied on skip passes often so I had to find a way to see the whole floor. Wasn't too bad. I also play fifa on the co-op camera (you can see 50%-75% the field at all times essentially). I guess I like to see the big picture.
