NBA 2K14: The Next Generation of Little Things

So with Next Gen happening this week, I thought I'd start the annual Little Things thread. I'm hoping that this fills up with amazing little details that couldn't be possible in CG.

This is my favorite thread each year and with next gen coming I know it's gonna be better than ever! Thanks for starting.

Ps4 and 2k14 doesn't release here in Sweden until 29 Nov so looking forward to what you guys find!

On Twitter during the 2K14 press event, there was this quote:

"Beta tester Jeff Reed has JR Smith take 30 foot 3 with 19 on the clock. Triggers in-game Woodson to shake his head. Level of detail is stunning"

As a Pels fan, seeing Aminu with his blank, expressionless zombie look is just priceless.

That was gif worthy, it needs to be done.

I love that when the ball goes into the crowd they move away from it. Very nice touch.

Had CP3 tear his ACL mid game the other day.

And it was in real time, me and my boy were playing (at the house) and CP3 in transition dishes it to the wing and just falls to the ground holding his knee, later on the report came out that his ACL was torn and would be done for the season.

Good stuff. I've been missing that aspect in recent years on current gen. Did teammates or trainers come to his side or help him off?

Nope, just him on the floor, then the screen cuts elsewhere, game continues.

Still, nice to know in-game injuries are back.

I remember in some old 2ks when an injury occurred and you saw the player down for 30 sec with no commentary and sound at all...soooo creepy

All the players would stand at the bench and stare, with an uneasy aerial cam rotating around the isolated player in pain. Yeah, good times... ha.
