hes one of my fav players and chances of seeing what he looks like without asking are thin since hes stuck on the bench in Charlotte and hardly anybody uses the bobcats

I'am not buying half the things I read in this thread. Game might be good, and pretty awesome looking graphically but i'am almost 100% certain out of the box the rosters and tendencies are the same garbage as it ever was.

Definitely disheartening to hear the impressions about season/myGM for sim players who like to control all 30 teams

What do you mean by tuning wingspan? If wingspans truly affect gameplay, finally, and appropriately, shouldn't we embrace the realism.

Side note: PS4/NBA2k14 still sealed. Setup will come tonight.

I guess I mean tuning the way players and their bodies react with each other or something. I dunno. I just felt like guys who were anywhere near being able to block a shot were able to do so almost 100% of the time. I mean, I did a chase down block with Shane Battier on Tony Parker. It looked cool bit it felt wrong.

Wow

Game looks and feels miles better than current gen. Dribbling and defensive movement in particular. Haven't spent enough time with the game to say anything further.

Loving the ability to edit body models. The community complained about the odd body proportions of some players and I agreed. So to have the ability to replicate the unique body types around the NBA is an epic addition to the series.

i know that myGM is one player only so im hoping there is some way i can play a franchise mode with my friends.

Agree 100% absolutely gutted they took the 30 team option out

I'm not, as a grown man, I have time to play my games, not micro manage the cpu.

Yes you can. The roster editing is a little weird. You go into roster creator, pick a base roster, make your edits and then save to cloud.

To load it, you find your roster on the cloud and load. (The fact that they don't automatically list yours and you have to find them is dumb).

got to play two quarters in a friends house and wow I was amazed. Foot planting is legit. Also no longer can you pull off a bunch of dribble moves and launch right into a good jump shot in rhythm. I tried to do so with Wade and since I wasn't in rhythm Wade shot awkwardly. Screens look so much better and the game is much more physical. Also the lighting is just incredible. Can't wait to see how the game looks on my Plasma once I get my own PS4

Yeah man. There are online leagues with 2-30 teams but I do see significant constraints on online leagues. First there are no CPU teams. if you choose 2 user teams there literally are only 2 teams. Additionally i don't see any way to change any details such as quarter length, difficulty, sliders, etc. It literally only allows users to play a 2-82 game schedule. It captures basic stats and trading. Only improvement over current gen for leagues is that you can import user created rosters for league.

The player likenesses are pretty damn good. Some players look really, really legit. Others are close and some are strange. But some guys like Kevin Durant - wow.

BTW - one grip people had for years was the "quality" of the courts. There is a definite improvement here - finally.

The game LOOKS and plays AMAZINGLY!! You have to play the game in person to see how detailed it is, 1080p 60fps is the best EVER!. I'm so tired right now I have been playing for 4 hours str8 since I got home at 12:30. I'll give more impressions tomorrow I'm sleepy has hell.

welcome to what PC's been doing for ages...but yeah..i got NBA2k14, Madden and Killzone for my PS4...i must say NBA2k14 is the best looking game of all three with Killzone 2nd and Madden 3rd but surprisingly all games have been a blast to play. You guys sure can feel me on this that current gen was milked on for too long..i am just glad new hardware is finally out now and we can move on with better visuals and smarter AI..the PC gaming platform and console gaming platform has some awesome times ahead of us now..now that the old consoles are now replaced..thank goodness

but is there a way of playing a franchise with more people without online? i want to play a franchise with multiple people.

the 3 of us select a team. we do a fantasy draft. and we play a 82 game season.
