Yeah man. There are online leagues with 2-30 teams but I do see significant constraints on online leagues. First there are no CPU teams. if you choose 2 user teams there literally are only 2 teams. Additionally i don't see any way to change any details such as quarter length, difficulty, sliders, etc. It literally only allows users to play a 2-82 game schedule. It captures basic stats and trading. Only improvement over current gen for leagues is that you can import user created rosters for league.

Please tell me you're NOT kidding?

welcome to what PC's been doing for ages...but yeah..i got NBA2k14, Madden and Killzone for my PS4...i must say NBA2k14 is the best looking game of all three with Killzone 2nd and Madden 3rd but surprisingly all games have been a blast to play. You guys sure can feel me on this that current gen was milked on for too long..i am just glad new hardware is finally out now and we can move on with better visuals and smarter AI..the PC gaming platform and console gaming platform has some awesome times ahead of us now..now that the old consoles are now replaced..thank goodness

Need to play a few more games but so far this is the 2k I wanted for CG.....

The menu is absolutely trash and I can't find the controller settings...

Not kidding Optic. I tested that feature myself. I just wish there were more options in leagues. Game is great otherwise.

Wow this is the best game ever... Whoever say nba 2k14 on ps4 plays the same as current gen is on crack or dont have a ps4 .. Because this game feels diffrent in a great way but it still feels like 2k .. Im loving it..the shooting is great kevin durant plays like himself to the t... Amazing game

How is the defense???

1. anybody got the defensive badges glowing hot yet? if so how is it?
2. charging/blocking? Is it effective paying position basketball and taking charges for being at the right spot at the right time?
3. Does loose balls really feels like it plays in space? hence actually loose?

U a lie ... I seen nba 2k computer mods that looked great but didnt come close to how this look.. The textures or killing...some of u guys act like the pc mods looked good as this next gen lol ur smoking .. Dont get me wrong pc looked better then current gen but aint got nothing on this .. And im a pc guy!! I cant wait till nba 2k14 ports next gen to pc then the mods will be truly amazing.. But for now next gen rules pc nba 2k14

Defense is great, though I found myself having to learn how to play it again due to the foot planting. But to try and answer your questions:

- I have gotten the defensive rhythm hot with a couple players, including in MyCareer. You activate it by getting blocks, steals, and contesting shots well consistently. I got two back to back interceptions with Jimmy Butler that led to dunks and he was on fire defensively. I found it a lot easier to stay in front of my man after that.
- I've seen quite a few charging calls. I've even gotten charging calls where my player didn't set his feet, the ball handler was just out of control and turbo'd into him. Pretty neat.
- Loose balls feel really organic to me. The ball awareness is ALOT better than CG, though still not perfect. The way they lead to fast breaks feel really nice, because the game flows quicker. Fast breaks actually feel like fast breaks.
