What did you expcect? I like what I see in broadcast cam. Looks decent. Really looking forward to the game now.

Like a better looking version of Live 10.

Guess I was just stating the obvious. I didn't really had any expectations. Was just hoping it would be better than this.

But ah well, I'll just stick with my first choice, 2K14.

I did kinda liked that half time presentation tough , but based on that alone won't cut it

so far the 4 streams I have seen of this game the people seem to regret buying the game. And I don't blame them.

stop telling stories. i'm looking at the guy go thru rising star. and all of you lying about how live doesnt look like next gen how it looks like current gen. that was a flat out lie. now it may play like crap. but LOOKing at the player model in rising star. its obviously NEXT GEN. do you see the guys hair on his arm? his veins, how the tatoos looks realistically blended in with the guy skin. just the guys skin period looks 5 times more realistic then any live or 2k has on current gen. STOP IT. again if the game play sucks. hey it sucks and call it out. but lets start being honest about these live player models. they look very good and next gen. as good as 2k? probably not. but that doesnt mean it isnt next gen looking.

again is this game on par with 2k? not yet. is it close? YEP. but no one will admit this. because they are looking for 2k in a nba live box. why would you expect that? every video i have seen its the same thing. "man it doesnt play like 2k" uhh course not. its not 2k. lol.

Not close. But its healthy competition. If EA is committing to letting the devs do teir thing with little red tape, then yeah I can see it going places and heating up the competition. I think OG being apart of the dev team is a slight advantage. unless you're mike wang lol.I have a feeling, wang played ball in hs or college.

It always a plus to have someone on the team that played the most at high level, so it'll be a big thing. While community input is valued, you have someone that actually played and made money off basketball..

Ea doesn't have the tools or the engine (especially animations) to compete with 2k. I don't care who's there. The tech is just not there. After 7 years this is pretty evident. So I'm sorry, but you and a lot of other blind fans are living a pipe dream. Live is done. I played 2k14 next gen today and it's no joke. Way more sim than current gen 2k14. Foot planting is a beautiful thing in that game. It makes a hell of a difference in game play. Live is too far behind to compete. Live 14 should of just came out for current gen. It's not a next gen product and not worth $60. It's not ready for prime time. There is no competition.

People aren't complaining that it doesn't play like 2K, they are saying its not on par with 2k, which is totally different.

On a real note just release this for current gen, I'd get it. There's no way they can't do it. NBA Live 10 looks better than this, the only difference seems like improved player movement and animations, nothing really changed. We all know this isn't a next-gen game, they aren't fooling anyone.

Forget that it doesn't play NBA 2K, the players don't move like real life players, the game-play seems like it's from 2005. And can you explain to us how this is close to NBA 2K? Unless you are talking about NBA 2k5.

Agreed, I just watched a Youtube video of the IGN Review of Live 10 and to my surprise it does seem play better than Live 14.
