k, to end this MyGM v Season talk, there is a way to just play a season and forego all of the GM stuff. At the screen where you select all of the season stuff and it says MyGM at the top, you can hit R1 or R2 or L1 or L2 or whatever it is and it will switch to season and thus you do not have to micro manage the team.

You can also see the NBA today screen just like it was in last gen, its in there....

Loving this game and being able to pass out of a shot to an open guy...

Mine was fine last night too! Left it on standby and this is when it happened the next day!

hmmm.. did you get the 2GB update downloaded after you installed the game?

Not much to add here, but if you have a PS4, and like basketball even a little, then you need this game.

For people getting skipping...Is your PS4 online? If so, see if going offline fixes the issue.

Not much to add here, but if you have a PS4, and like basketball even a little, then you need this game.

Totally agree. This game alone is worth the price of admission...

Went to my brother's place and played last night for about 4 hours straight. The game is a beast. The foot planting really helps. The only flaw I saw was the catch animations still has sliding.

I'm actually really disappointed with this game. I will say the graphics and presentation are the best of any next gen sports game...very good.

The most glaring issue with this game, however; is MyGm mode taking The Associations place. This has been talked about a lot already, so I'll make it quick. I'm not a HUGE basketball fan, or basketball video game fan. I do keep up with the sport and watch big games, and have enjoyed jumping into NBA 2k a lot the past several years. I like running lots of Associations and taking them to the offseason to sign FAs, or starting one midseason and playing a few games or the entire season from there. MyGM is way too much of a hassle to do this.

I also do not understand who came up with the menus for this game. They are terrible. They look unappealing and don't make much sense, even after figuring out how to use them.

The last thing I'm disappointed in (and only slightly) is the actual gameplay. I believe they have a new engine or something?? Either way, the game plays pretty well, I just don't think it matches current gen gameplay. The disappointment in the gameplay may change after playing it enough and getting used to it, but we'll see.

All in all, I like FIFA and Madden better than NBA 2k14 right now on next gen. I just don't know why they would change so much about their game when it was already a leader in the sports games industry

Am I the only person that hates the decision to only have MyGM and a single season mode? I don't want to deal with all the mess in MyGm so I would rather play a season mode, unfortunately the season mode only allows you to play 1 season. I also hate that you can't modify how many games you play in MyGM.

2k is truly screwing up. what happen the the staduim music? on CG i was able to put my own music in the game, but in NG there is no option for that, so now i gotta hear the same music over and over again. the menus is horrible, it just to sloppy and i feel 2k could have done a better job with that.

i don't know if im the only person who is having this problem, but the game lags a few times on me.
but other than those issue, the game looks great and feel alive.

There's another thread about this.. it's not a 2K issue. The new consoles do not allow custom music.

Basically what it boils down to is that this game is a first launch on a new system. And it is absolutely outstanding considering those circumstances. The on-court experience is unbelievably improved from the current gen version. From graphics, to presentation, to animations, to crowd reactions, to player emotion, to CPU AI, the list goes on and on.

I am very impressed with this game. Maybe the biggest thing is the aggressiveness and speed that the AI plays with. They actual feel like intelligent opponents. It's a thing of beauty.

I didn't think the gameplay would be much different. But damn, was i wrong.

I am glad they took the approach they did and left out a few things and tried new stuff because that is what makes 2K different from other companies that mail it in every year... New next gen system, new next gen ideas.

I can't speak to the multiple seasons thing because I have not been that far yet. I am currently going game by game and just enjoying every second of every game. I am not in a rush to find out whats not in there. I am mostly excited to play the game, In any event if MyGM is multi season, maybe you can automate most of the GM stuff and that will solve the issue, but then again, I have no idea, just trying to help
