The reason this is is because its a game that a lot of people love and has no sequel coming because of the landscape of college sports nowadays. This game was a titan among titans in its hey day as I have EVERY copy of college hoops going back to 2k3. Personally even though its highly editable out the box the things I want to be able to edit are IN GAME RECRUITS B4 THEY GET ON TEAMS and player class like freshman sophomore junior senior WITHIN YOUR EXSISTING DYNASTY as this will allow us to update current running dynasties and parallel them with real life as opposed to starting over. also it would be cool for us to be able to realign conferences WITHIN DYNASTY through this editor so WE DONT HAVE TO START OVER. All the work the great roster editors put into this game it would be cool just to import their rosters into YOUR CURRENT DYNASTY as opposed to starting over. Also this will make their job a lot easier to do as they can easily mix and match and compile their work thru a editor they will have access to on computer. Ncaa football 14 has a editor that allows these things which I love so that I can keep my dynasty going an edit the in game recruits to real life prospects. If any game deserves a editor to prolong the life of it much like espn 2k5 and others, ITS THIS GAME!!!!!

I agree, but most of the people that know how to do these things are always busy making editors for new games year after year. I don't know much about how to program things like this, so I'm useless. It looks like we're sol because people have moved on from this game except for a few, and it just so happens that out of the few, no one knows how to do these things.Gig'em Aggies! -

Totally agree with both of you long time vet of CHoops but just hung my disc from the ceiling (retired) as I can no longer play without it freezing or "unreadable disc" It was a great run tho.Comment

I believe someone was on the verge of creating something along the lines of a patch where he would fix conferences, update jerseys, courts (size and appearance), and rosters but it was very short-lived. That was as close as we've gotten to updating the game content.
That being said, an actual editor would be marvelous. If you could edit incoming recruits and even the schools they were interested, it would make for better balance in legacy mode. Schools like Duke steals 5* HS-AA guards even if they already have 3 or 4 at each position on their roster already. Variety would be nice. It would also help with the severe lack of HS-AA Power Forwards and Centers in a given recruiting class.Last edited by strobox88; 11-16-2013, 10:43 AM.Comment
