First and foremost, animations and physics, these need to be the highest priority for Madden 15. Realistic animations are what make the game feel real, the reason that games from years ago can still look realistic today, are because of great animation quality. The physics on next gen need to be much cleaner and there shouldn't be any silly stuff happening any more in year 3 of physics.

The next gameplay issue, is wr/db interactions, we need to see more hand fighting, more catch animations, wrs and dbs bobbling then catching/dropping the ball,holding/tugging of jerseys, etc..

Continue to work on o/d line play, true step, add more user controlled pass rush animations, change the passing game to work based on routes, use the NBA Live Bouncetek to make the ball no longer tethered to WRs.

Fix player models and add a ton of face scans, no more wide shouldered qb's, and unrealistic player models. We need face scans for almost every player, at least 60% of the game should have real faces, not 30% like it is now. If not every, almost every starting player should have a real face scan on next gen.

Presentation and commentary must be improved, play by play needs to be more player specific, for Touchdowns, say the player's name not just the team name. Instead of Touchdown Packers, say Touchdown Packers, then player's name. For pass plays, say "Rodgers drops back to pass, has a man open, it's Jordy Nelson, Nelson at the 40, the 30, the 20, the 10, Touchdown Packers, Jordy Nelson. Then on the replay, have Phil say something like "Jim, that was a great read by Aaron Rodgers, he finds Jordy Nelson who beat his man easily, open for the easy Touchdown."

Living Worlds are supposedly a base level entry this year, well they need some upgrades next year big time. We need to see more indiscernible crowds, more jersey numbers, most teams fans should have at least 6 or more jerseys, add women and children character models. Add cherleaders, add team flags, add more weather appropriate attire for the crowds and the sidelines, add more attire for coaches. Have the sidelines react to every play good or bad. Get rid of cutscenes, have the coaches and players roaming, talking, yelling, jumping up and down, fist bumping, chest bump, throwing helmets, clipboards, headsets, etc... Bring emotion to Madden!

There needs to be a pregame, halftime, post game overhaul, redo presentation completely for these three elements. Keep Nantz and Simms on screen in pregame, but add more lines, have them discuss keys to the game in pre-game, have them also come onscreen at halftime and do a first half recap, keys to second half. During post game, have Nantz and Simms actually recap THAT game, not just some random post game commentary. Have them talk about the biggest plays and the player of the game. Have a player of the game interview in post game with real players audio, if NBA 2k can do it, Madden can too.

Add a weekly wrapup show for Connected Franchise, with highlights, league news, game recaps and previews, playoff pictures, mvp races, injury reports, etc...

Game specific atmosphere AI-From preseason to the Super Bowl, each game should have AI that drives the way the commentary, players, sidelines, and crowds react. The crowd should react accordingly to what importance the game has to their fans, during the biggest regular season matchups, Playoffs, and ultimately Super Bowl, the crowds should be amped during the pregame, go nuts after their team scores, and then at times act/sound nervous when the opposing team scores. The commentary should match this, and their excitement level should go from almost dull in the preseason to ecstatic in the postseason. The players on the field and on the sidelines need to be fully aware of the game's importance as well, show players on the sideline celebrating together after a big win, or dropping their heads in defeat, we should be able to see the excitement or disappointment in their eyes, body language etc.. Add different celebrations/disappointments for regular season and Playoffs, Super Bowl, make it dynamic and have great variety.

For Connected Franchise add a weekly injury report system where you can list a player as out, doubtful, questionable, probable, and depending on the performance of the player, you will receive a grade for your coaching decision each week. If a injured player gets hurt worse, have the coaches decision making rating drop and his overall approval rating drop. If the injured player performs well, then the coaches decision making and approval rating will go up.

Fix the challenge/replay system to where we can challenge any play according to if it would be able to be challenged in real life. Let us choose what we want to challenge, spot of the ball, fumble, WR had possession of the ball, feet in bounds, etc...

Fix the penalty system, add unnecessary roughness, defensive holding, illegal block in the back, illegal use of hands, illegal receiver down field, etc...

agree 10000% with everything u have here. But #1 (gameplay wise) really needs to be wr/db interaction and ball physics. The tips in the game are really bad because it feels like players hands will warp to balls and sometimes catch them while they are on the ground. This gives the game a bad 'scripted' feeling. Next gen madden feels great, but the ball physics and the way the wr and db's interact still keep it behind other titles in terms of realism.

also something that often goes unsaid here is the catching. We really need a lot more catching animations as well as variety of catches. We never see a player catch the ball in their chest on deep balls. Watch any desean jackson deep ball or santonio holmes deep ball... they always cradle it in their chest. In madden it is always caught awkwardly with their hands. Every WR looks like stephen hill on roller skates. Especially when it is a user catch. I think if they add ball physics with more catch variety we will start to see more realistic catches AND drops. Imagine throwing a bullet with Rodgers to finley and having it bounce off his chest as a drop. We need organic gameplay like this
