I don't think it's confusing. Just go through it and you see where everything is.

It does look awful. But 2K has always had awful looking menus.

They need to look at EA (I know...) or even Battlefield or Assassins Creed. Those are clean menus.

I'm enjoying on the court very much. Off the court needs a major overhaul IMO. I will not put that much time into 2K14 because of the depth issues man. I'm not a big fan of VC at this point. I'd like for Online Association to work properly in 2K15 and then I'll get into that.

Right now it's fun and for the first time I'll mess around with MP because the MyGM just doesn't do it for me at the moment.

Here's to hoping the off the court gets a major boost moving forward!

How do you customize your face in My Career?

Can you implement customized rosters into My Career like previous years?

How do you simply create a player?

Someone had to be joking with having no audio/sound on Facebook uploads, not to mention the quality of the uploads are unwatchable pixelated blurs, it runs in 1080 but uploads are likely below 480.

The My Career feels less personal and more like a scripted reality show. That was my favorite part of the game and now it feels less customizable. The gameplay and graphics are obviously improved but at the expense of customizing your experience. The potential is there.... I'm ready to return my entire system if a patch doesn't drop fixing these issues.

I agree. Too many times I'm playing hard nose defense in the paint, blocking one or more put back attempts only to have the ball end up in the other teams hand for an easy score. I blocked Paul George twice last night with Ibaka only to have my last block drop on Perkins head and roll down his back and right into the hands of Hibbert for an easy score. It doesn't happen all the time but definitely enough to notice it.

Ditto! I play good defense and get like 2 tough blocks just to have the ball gracefully drop into the person i blocked twice hands or a teammate hands for an easy score. They need to fix this

If I would have known that I had to download my rosters from 2kShare, unable to save them to my hard drive, I would have left 2k14 on the shelf. Editing rosters is an important part to me.

Maybe they mentioned it beforehand and I missed it. I'm going to have to go back to play 2k14 on PS3.

Everything else about the game, I can deal with.

If I would have known that I had to download my rosters from 2kShare, unable to save them to my hard drive, I would have left 2k14 on the shelf. Editing rosters is an important part to me.

I'm sorry but you and many others on this forum are downright mad. How can you possibly go back to NBA 2K14 on ps3!!!! Seriously!!!! The gameplay in nextgen is 1000x more advanced. Not to mention the graphics. The ball physics, the faces, the lighting, the replays!!!! Mannnn!!!!


I cant fathom ever going back. Its like owning a ferrari, then trading it in for a Honda civic because you dont like the shape of the trunk! Once you get a taste of something better, you cant go back, its human nature!!!

Sure you can be frustrated at things like menus, slider etc, but going back to current gen? Thats a laughable decision really. I could never ever go back. It's crazyyyy to think someone could. The on court gameplay is what matters when your playing a video game. Do you not? NO?? Damn!

You can still edit them and save them. You busy have to download them each time and pray 2k servers hold.

One thing they need to change is the jumper shooter kicking his leg out most of the time. That needs to be toned down some.

Agreed. A lot times the defender isn't even that close and u still get that leg kick animation when taking a jumper

My PS4 came today so I only had about 5 mins to try out NBA 2k before I had to leave for work but I was thrown off by not needing to hold down the left trigger to shoot. I liked that, don't know why they took it out.

I really dislike the menu but also when I tried to set up a Season (NOT MY GM), I was still only able to select 1 team and unable to play the computer's games? Am I missing something? That would suck, I enjoy playing as all the teams in the game and don't want to be stuck with just 1 team the whole time.

It seems like the majority of the negative impressions are due to the fact that 2k chose/didn't have the time to implement proper customization for both player editing and Career modes.

I knew most of this going into it so I can't complain too much. I normally only control one team in Association anyway, however I'd always control a dummy team too so I could mimic any big trades that were made in real life. It's also annoying that we can't at least change CPU teams players numbers. I played the Lakers the other day and they had signed Stephen Jackson, he was wearing #8 and it really bothered me. I would love to see them patch in the ability to edit rating and numbers, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

The CAP issue is likely do to the Emotion Plus Engine which I guess is understandable, but it still sucks. It also makes me wonder how difficult it's going to be for 2k to add players in. I'm a Celtics fan and can't start a MyGm with them until Faverani and Pressey are added. Hopefully, when and if they do add them they will look good.

Like I said, I knew about the majority of this from the jump and decided to give them a pass. I still find MyGm enjoyable and it will be that much more fun once I can start playing with "my team" and real draft classes (even though they're not going to look good). Game play wise I'd call this the best sports game ever. I only have a few minor complaints with the main one being my players sometimes acting a little brain dead when it comes to loose balls.

Even with all the missing features and disappoints with the way the decided to jack up the rosters, I can still say that this game is without a doubt my favorite of all the launch titles as well as the best 2k to date.

Great gameplay and graphics. I only play MyCareer (since 2k13) and now willing to try MyGM.

My Career disappointment:

1. You cant skip the intro drama - I've created and recreated myCareer and watching this EVERYTIME is annoying.

2. You skills (way you shoot, dunk, isomotion etc) is not saving - or probably Im missing it....

3. Until now Im waiting for the 2k roster update (Gortat-Okafor trade and some minor tweeks, etc)

My Career likes:

1. Good that i need to earn my minutes.

On the court may be the only thing that matters to u but I don't sit around and play quick games all day. MyGM and Mycareer have some major problems that need to be fixed. I want to play these mods but to many problems ruin the modes. I can't talk about park because I can't even get online because of 2K crappy servers.
