The feedback on here is funny to me. "Next Gen" does not mean PERFECTION fellas. How long have we all been gaming? If we look back every game we ever played had flaws and glitches. How we have come to think "Next Gen" will erase these flaws? How are we still surpised with bad servers? Most of us on here, including me, own a PS3 and 360 now because of server issues or exclusive games on each console. And you think Sony and Microsoft will change? We are all still daing the same girlfriend, she just has new red bottoms and wearing new perfume lol. Once everyone stops being thirsty they will realize dropping $555 (if you cop an extra controller) bought you a an opportunuity to play a "polished" version of a sub par basketball game (2K11 still holds the belt, don't even front on that) on a new console that shows upside. I actually appreciate reading these comments. When I do buy a PS4 I will honestly be able to keep my emotions in perspective and just enjoy this console for what it is...And in this wonderfull country we live in we can still cheat on our girlfriend and buy an XBOX One if we are not happy! I'm just bein honest.

Since NBA2K for the Dreamcast, I don't think I have had a first impression like this for a sport videogame. It is just amazing. If you love basketball you can't skip this game. Of course it has flaws -i.e. the voice in the My Player are just horrible-.But the whole game is just an increible achievement"La Ilusión es el sueño de los Despiertos" Mario Benedetti.

Good game overall. Graphics are ill. Commentary is nice. My CPU AI though is embarrassing. They play as they do in the PS3: half-assing rebounds, can't block shots, not filling passing lanes, no hustle for loose balls, etc. But the CPU can do all that and more. Give my guys the same abilities as the CPU. As long as I don't play the Heat, Clippers or OKC, I like the game.Comment

Sorry that I have to make his question here, but the 2ksports website is down. I triedast night to create my player, but I can't actually change his appearance like in previous versions. There are like 20 something types of players, but I couldn't change his face. Is that feature missing in the next gen version?
Thanks"La Ilusión es el sueño de los Despiertos" Mario Benedetti.

NO CREATE A PLAYER!!!!! WTF? WHY NOT?
And only 23 faces to choose from if you set up my player and there is no way to customize any facial features.
2K has had no changes to the create a player since NBA 2K7 (same old haircuts and same old tattoos) so I thought 2K14 on next gen would have this brand new re-vamped system. Boy was I sadly mistaken! They got rid of it all together!
I CANT BE THE ONLY PERSON PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS!?! I don't think it's possible but please patch create a player in an update or something haha. At least bring it back for 2K15!
I'm probably so pissed bcuz every year since 06 all I did was create myself and start an association. Everything else about the gameplay and grapbics are CRAAAAAZZZY THO!!! 2k is the only game I play and it's the only reason I dropped 500 on a PS4. So NBA 2K developers if you're out there... please fix this by 2K15!Comment

I Don´t know if 2k is dumb or arrogant ... we want
1. Ability to Create a player and use in any mode of the game.
2. Ability to edit rosters and save them to the hardrive instead off uploading online and having to re download them for use.
3. Option to use custom rosters in NBA Today games, this has been a option in NBA 2K11,2K12 2K13.
4- Ability to create teams
5- Ability to export teamsComment

I have been a long-time fan of the nba 2k franchise. This game is a huge disappoinment to me for 1 reason. I can't believe they got rid of the multi-team association mode with fantasy draft!!! I have a group of 5 friends who play it ALL year together. Without this mode we have no reason to play the game. Having our teams to compete year after year, to then make the big decisions on how to build our teams during and after each season gave us such thrills. Gameplay is great, but the lasting appeal for me and my friends has been squashed. My friend just texted me..."a piece of me has died inside." If it is possible 2K... Patch association mode in there someway somehow!!! My GM mode pales in comparison to the type of fun me and my friends had with multi team association Mode!Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 Next-Gen First Impressions
Thinking I may come back to current gen 2K because this game is a hot freaking mess. I feel like all my post are complaints because I'm always running into a problem. I thought NBA 2K13 was the worst in the series for me but next gen 2K14 has it beat.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 Next-Gen First Impressions
Why are plays buried into the options, and only accessible in game?
How come none of my settings save for online matches?
Why can I not practice post moves or play sets?
Also, are the playbooks randomly arranged? I can recall calling a floppy page for my SG on the first page, but I had to flip through to the 3rd page in another game to call the same play.
These little changes are really annoying. I find myself running ineffective screen and rolls, floppies, and post plays more and more often. Defense is the general theme of 2K14 and even then it's tough to play since I have to turn on defensive assist and auto-contest every online game I play.Comment
