I played the game and I think 4.3 is much lower than I would give it...the 7.8 is closer to my impression. The main omission is a practice/tutorial mode.

honestly, go find a game where they are actually running plays and playing smart. its night and day.

Doesn't change the fact that the game looks just like a PS3 game if not worse. The animations aren't fluid. The players seem to only want to move if you call a play. If not you won't see much movement at all. A lot of clipping. Turbo to the rim to score everytime. Where is the defense? There is so much to hate about this game. It deserves the scores it got especially when this is supposed to be a $60 next-gen game. I will throw in a positive though. Presentation was pretty nice. After that I'm not sure.

OG said play diagrams are in the game. IGN says its not. SOmething tells me, this guy picked up the game and played it for a day or two then wrote a review.

I feel sorry for you Live fans because first off I have the game and have had it since friday. All I see are people playing the game and looking for exploits and glitches. Tell me this is 2k14 without exploits and glitches? Ill wait. LIVE fans if u try and play the game like its Live and not 2k u will see the difference. It has things that patches can fix but after playing 2k for the past 3 years I am pleased with Lives return.

You mean run in circles and proceed to go inside and dunk. Because I have been seeing a lot of that.

Judging from the footage it seems that every player can do dribbling moves evenly well and every player can easily dunk in traffic. It looks a little dated in the gameplay department among other things..

But I will try the demo. Maybe it's fun-ish when playing against another player.

from the videos ive seen it depends on how you play the game. its night and day from someone who tries to play sim ball vs someone who just runs around and shoots. the few vids ive seen with someone trying to run plays and play smart look really good. a lot of the videos look mediocre at best because people dont play smart and it leads to a lot of awkward looking animations and weird sets.

You can say the same thing about the other game. If you play realistic in the other game it looks great. I've played both next gen games. And there are exploits/cheese in both. Next gen 2k is better than current gen in this regard. Sim is what you make it and live looks like trash. Whether you play sim or not. They have a lot of work to do.

Well. I was a strong advocate of Live. Played 3 games. I'm giving it a 5.0 . Its too slow, not fluid and honestly, Live 10 looked and played better. They can boast all those nice features they want, but to me, feels like its still in beta. Money has been wasted.

I really can't grasp that you can't change the game speed
