RAW PREVIEW
1) DMK's Motive
During last week's main event between U.S. champ David Degenerate and Shawn Midnight, new WWE champ Carson Pain and Hardcore champ Brett Diamond sauntered down to ringside and caused a big distraction. During the ensuing brawl, DMK came down and assisted tag partner David in clearing the chaos. But in what seemed like a heat-of-the-moment action, DMK clotheslined his partner before walking out. David was able to recover and win the match, but he and the WWE universe has been speculating... what's the deal with DMK, and what does that mean for the Hell's Genius alliance?
2) Trucker and Tank's Disagreement
For those who had any doubt about the status of Big Mutha Trucker and Tank Blazer's friendship, I believe those doubts can now be cleared. Trucker issued a challenge to David D. for his U.S title, and his former tag partner "Captain" took issue with that. The argument turned into a brawl, in which Tank gained the upper hand and left the "Resident Redneck" laying in pain. What's next for these two, and what will David D. have to say about the challenge?
3) The "Human Semi" comes to Raw
One of the more surprising draft picks was Mack Wheeler changing to the Raw brand. He is expected to make his red brand debut tonight, but fans are dying to know... What kind of impact will he make?
4) Gravedigger... where are you?
WWE officials released a statement that the whereabouts of Gravedigger were unknown after he left the hospital in secrecy. The "Graveyard Monster" was supposed to make his Raw debut last week, but there has been no new developments in the relentless search for him. Gravedigger... where are you? And more importantly... what are you planning?
SMACKDOWN PREVIEW
1) New World Champion!
The buzz surrounding the events that led to Rebel Ford becoming the new World Heavyweight champ have been very loud. Ex-champ Ace came out to complain to the unwelcoming crowd, and Mr. McMahon made his return to live TV in order to announce a huge main event... Ace vs. a new draft pick for the title! When the match rolled around, Rebel Ford was revealed to be the guy getting the shot and the crowd went crazy! The great match that followed was an exciting way to close out the show, but the most exciting part was the upset victory! The WWE universe is expecting Ace to have more complaints, while "Everybody's Rebel" will be in the building... with his new title in tow!
2) Eric E. and Mr. Black's evil intentions
It was a brutal sight last week when Eric Executioner remorselessly dominated ECW champ Rusty from the start and left him a broken mess. The scary aura that is starting to surround this evil duo has raised a lot of questions, and none of them are very promising. Should the Smackdown roster be on notice?
3) Antonio evens the odds
Last week, Intercontinental champ Antonio Jordan got another advantage over rival Joseph T. Lutte when he recruited debuting Diva Audrey Vega to his team for an inter-gender tag match against Lutte and his beau Womens champ Eve. Not only did it surprise Lutte and Eve... but Audrey pinned Eve to win the match! Lutte was fuming backstage following the match and fans are expecting him to respond in a big way.
4) ECW title match starting to become personal
Speaking of Rusty, his ECW title belt is scheduled to be defended at Backlash in a 4-way match against Craig Bullet, Paulie Dominos and Guy Justice. While Rusty battled Eric E., Justice took on Craig's partner Tony in what seemed like a normal meaningless bout. But it was clear that Craig and Paulie D. had other plans on their minds, as both interfered in the match. But despite the distractions, Justice bounced back and beat Tony with the Justice Lock. How will the "Savior" respond this week, and what will happen when Rusty gets himself back involved?
