When your player is on his way to a game, once u close the news headline, if u press the button at the bottom of the screen to the far right next to news (circle on PS4 I believe) u bring up various options like NBA.com, Player Upgrade, etc. Scroll over and select the one that says settings and u can change difficulty, quarter length, etc
