Nobody is saying that and the only ones who would say that are the people who don't have the next gen edition.

I would say it makes for a more pleasant online experience. I was ably to play a few randoms and have someway legit games.

Of course, once they figure out how easy some oops are and how the layups draw fouls easily... Oops. I'll just stop right there.

What in the world did they do to ranked online matches? So far they've been a brick and foul fests. Terrible! Looks like they nerfed 3 pointers, cool. But why I am I missing countless perfect release/selection 3/midrange shots? Also I'm still not understanding how this online is based on user timing, yet I'm still missing A- free throws but making B-'s with Dirk. Makes no sense.

What system are you on and how many games have you played online? I have it for the xbox one and it always says that 2k server is not available.

Maybe I am the only one but have you guys noticed that and ones are non existent. Every shooting foul is a miss, drives me nuts

I have around 6 or 7 and ones per a game. So it is definitely there in the game.

How do you change your jersey #, I got traded to the Pistons and Josh Smith has #6, and they gave me #17, I don't want #17!!!

My impressions (quick review style) of the Xbox One version.

Gameplay: 9
Compared with current gen it is as balanced and even improved with more fluidity and human-like animations, if you adjust sliders you definitely will get a great sim experience.

Graphics: 9
Just beautiful, yes definitely next gen is here and 1080p and 60 fps do the rest.

Game Modes: 5
Very improved MyCareer and MyTeam and an interesting new MyGM, but they stripped too many modes from current gen.

Online: 3
Atrocious, It is a mess. I hope they will start using Microsoft Free Dedicated Servers soon, input lag make it unplayable. On the other hand, Online Leagues almost without customization… are you serious? really?

Customization: 4
Supposedly you can use custom rosters but, other than that, they removed many options which are basic for us, hardcore 2k gamers…

Overall: 7
This game could have been a masterpiece, but it lacks a lot in some basic aspects as online and customization. It has a lot of problems also, so right now we can say that they released just a beta of the game, therefore I hope some patches will be issued to improve features and correct the main bulk of current bugs.

I'm shocked that the game looks like the E3 trailer. A lot of other companies release these impressive CGI trailers at E3 and then the game looks nothing like it. 2ks game is as good as advertised.

Overall, the game looks and plays amazing but the features are less than what we expected. The really didn't fix anything, they just changed to the name of the features or took them away.

I just don't understand why they FORCED us to save everything important (rosters) to their servers when they have a track record of ongoing issues.

Kind of a small issue, but why does LeBron fade away on every single jumper? In real life when he spots up he goes straight up and straight down. He doesn't shoot every single jumper as a fadeaway.

am i crazy or is CG gameplay/game package superior to next gen? at least thats my initial impressions

the defenders on this game switches everything even on the simplest picks, every time the opposing team brings the ball up the court, ur team cant even check their man it's ridiculous, they get lost so bad on the simplest flare screens picks etc..., and help defense logic is frustrating

spacing is off because of the passing delay, and the jumpshots do not feel good, it's like theres a delay and theres an annoying feeling at the peak of your shot, dont feel smooth at all

dont even start at 2k taking out the defensive options

what happened to playcalling? quick iso, quick post up, why do i have to press two commands to call a quick play and add the menu lag and its even worse

and how do you stay in front of your man? if you move your left stick a little bit your player barely moves but move it just a little bit more your guy slides all over the court it's hard to stay in front of your man even on simple hesitations, so far tried experimenting defensive assist level and it's not helping

i have to play this game more to see if it gets better but right now my initial impressions arent very good

right now my player is saving this game for me imo
