Cutting off Xbox One DVR after every touchdown?
Has anybody figured this out? If I score or the computer scores a TD the game automatically saves it to the DVR, I can't figure out how to stop this. Any help would be appreciated.Tags: None -
Re: Cutting off Xbox One DVR after every touchdown?
you can always go into your "Upload" app and delete any clips you do not want...The Game DVR will also delete clips over time, if you do not go into "Upload" and manually save them...Comment

Thanks. It's just annoying having to delete 15-20 clips after a few matches. I'd rather have my choice on what gets saved.Comment

I actually love this feature.. One thing I noticed though, the first time I played the game it worked, but then when I play yesterday it didn't DVR any plays for me.. Is there a way to make sure it always works?Comment

You can turn it off by going to:
Settings > Preferences.
Then untick the box that says "Record gameplay with Game DVR"Comment

Give the command "Xbox record that"

That only records what you want it too record instead of after every touchdown. So I highly recommend using 'Xbox Record That' and unticking the box on Preferences for best results.Comment

Once you have to many clips it stops recording stuff you have to delete some of the clips for it to start recording again automatically.Comment

Re: Cutting off Xbox One DVR after every touchdown?
The thing is, I WANT games to record automatically from time to time. It's actually pretty awesome to have Peggle record a really high scoring combo, or Dead Rising to record when I get a high score in one of the Survival Trials.
However, recording every touchdown is a waste. Most are completely unspectacular, and therefore they clog up the Friends feed (for anyone who has added me) and they clog up my notifications section, where I constantly have 99+ notifications that it wants me to clear (because every recording also gives a notification).
If someone makes the play of the game, that's one thing. A one yard run up the middle is pointless.Comment

Re: Cutting off Xbox One DVR after every touchdown?
Currently there is no way to stop it for just a certain game (unless that game has a setting for that, which Madden does not). So while inconvenient, you will either have to a) put up with it or b) change the setting before you play a certain game.Comment
