Okay, so I'm about 15 CAW's into the start of my universe. To save a long story but fill you in at the same time, how I play WWE games is 100% fictional. What I mean is, I don't use the first real superstar in my Universe. They no longer exist to me. I play the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode and get my enjoyment of real superstars that way, not in pitting Yokozuna against Mark Henry or the Ultimate Warrior against Jimmy Uso.
Basically, in the past I've had a primary fed (the EWWF) and a developmental league (AAW). Because the CAW limit was 50, this was close to perfect. About 30 stars were featured in EWWF, and about 20 stars were on the AAW roster. I didn't have divas, I didn't have as many tag teams as I wanted, but for the most part the EWWF featured main eventers, midcarders, tag teams, and a tiny selection of jobbers.
This year, with 100 CAW's, I'm starting to think about different unique structures to Universe. My first instinct is to go to 3 brands, with about 30 superstars per brand. But now I'm trying to find the *difference* in these brands.
1.) I think I still want the EWWF to be my primary brand, with my highest tiered talent and hosting a monthly PPV.
2.) I'm pretty sure I still want a developmental league (AAW) where I can let my newest CAW's earn their stripes, tweak their characters, and eventually grow into roles in EWWF.
3.) Where I start getting cloudy is the 3rd brand. What are some ideas to make it unique and different? Make the 3rd brand ultra-gimmicky? Do something international? Make it a retirement home for my older EWWF stars that I push out while bringing AAW talent up?
I guess I'm just polling the community for some "out of the ordinary" ideas that people may have, even if they are using real wrestlers.
