Good evening and welcome to MONDAY NIGHT RAW, I am your General Manager Charlie Macgregor, and I am very excited to be taking over Raw, where we will take our rightful place over Smackdown at the top of the ratings charts. I hope you enjoy tonights show!

Match #1: Jeff Hardy vs Santino Marella
Jeff Hardy made his long awaited return to a WWE ring tonight as he took on the increasingly arrogant Italian wrestler Santino Marella. Hardy electrified the fans, getting many nearfalls on Marella, and, finally the 3 count was made after Hardy gave Santino a Fifth Swanton Bomb in the middle of the ring.

Result: Jeff Hardy def. Santino Marella @ 8:45

Match #2: AJ Lee vs Lita
This was a good Divas match, fast paced and very back and forth, Lita looked like she was going to win the match when she was on the top rope, going for the moonsault, when AJ brought her legs out from under her and locked Lita in the Black Widow for the submission victory.
Result: AJ Lee def. Lita by submission @ 12:37

Match #3: R-Truth vs Cody Rhodes
This was a short match, ending in a draw after both Cody and Truth didnt make the 10 count back into the ring.
Result: The Match ended in a draw.

A camera cuts to backstage and we see new WWE Champion Ryback walk up to CM Punk, not saying a word, as Ryback holds up the championship as they stare each other down in the middle of the corridor, until Ryback hits Punk with the belt, beating him down as officials try to drag him off Punk, who is unconscious after the belt smacked into his temple. Paramedics then load Punk into an ambulance as the cameras cut back into the ring.

Match #4: The Miz vs Stone Cold Steve Austin
Stone Cold returned to the ring after a long absence, not showing any ring rust as he dominated Miz, feeding him a stunner to end Miz's "Mizery" at 5:24.
Result: Stone Cold def. The Miz via Pinfall

We find Ryback in the ring, gloating about how he dismantled AJ Styles at survivor Series last night and destroyed Punk earlier.He then issues an open challenge for anyone: a championship match right now. No one seems to answer the challenge and Ryback starts chuckling until: BATISTA HAS RETURNED!!!!!! Batista comes running down the ramp, the cheers of the WWE Universe behind him, as he gets in the ring and gets ready for this impromptu main event when the all too familiar static blasts through the speakers and out comes CM Punk, looking pissed off, with gis shoulder taped up and bruises on his stomach, so it will be Ryback vs Batista vs CM Punk in our main event tonight!

Match #5: Ryback vs Batista vs CM Punk for the WWE Championship
This was the match of the night, an easy 5 star instant classic, with the perfect blend of technical skills (Punk), Strength/Size (Batista and Ryback) and a story told behind Ryback and Batista's targeting of CM Punk's injured stomach throughout this 35 minute clash. Punk still fought on, showing heart throughout the match, until Batista gave him a 4th Batista Bomb, and it looked like Batista would go home with the belt, until Ryback delivered a bone shattering spear out of nowhere. Ryback then pinned Punk and Batista simultaneously to retain his championship.
Result: Ryback def. Batista and CM Punk to retain his WWE Championship at 35:59
