STILL can't do random teams in Quick Play!

This might seem trivial to most but this is a dealbreaker for me! My friends and I play quick tourneys all the time and playing with random teams is a must!

I even contacted 2k support and all I got was a canned response 2 weeks later!!
The response was: "Thank you for contacting 2k Games Support and for your question. Although there is no information to release on this topic, we appreciate the fact that you are interested in our games..." blah blah blah.

Then the ticket was closed.

I don't get it 2K? How can simple little features be left out? I had SOME expectations on this patch. I think i've lost all faith. I think it's time to return it.

Everything was working fine until today, now I'm stuck on "Loading Files" at the menu screen, can't do anything.

Edit: working now, just let it go for 5 minutes finally loaded.

This happened to me once. Only I was stuck on the LeBron title screen. Turns out my internet crashed just as I was loading the game. The game has a different load protocol based on a working internet connection. So I just had to restart the system.

the real patch is going to be called 'NBA 2k15'. i have from sources that ronnie said it's in the pipeline

remember how for 2k13 they NEVER fixed the contract extension bug that broke mycareer? i don't think that the fact that it's a new system has anything to do with the bugs, especially since these systems are supposed to very close to pc's. the ps3 i could understand bugs and stuff from a new system 'cause it was totally different.

i know everyone thinks that their bug is more important than the others but if you a legit game breaking bug, that should be your #1 priority. this is clearly not the case. there's not even patch notes to figure out if what bug you're having was even addressed.

OK, THE PARK IS FIXED, COOL. but not your supposedly #1 mode? ok.

tbh, i feel sorta bad for ld2k / ronnie since they're the ones that probably feel the wrath of the masses more than anyone else. it's gotta be mega stressful for no real reason.

edit: all those people here calling for 2k14 to be a legit GOtY contender are foolish. GTA5 was a massive launch (inb4 they had years to work on it) and i never had even a fraction of the problems that i've had with 2k14.

I was so excited for this game, like most on this forum and I have never, ever been this let down before. I don't even play it anymore. It's disgusting. We get no answers from the 2k team. It's a guessing and hoping game. I think it makes it worse for me that the game is so beautiful and plays so fluidly, because everything outside of that is essentially corrupt. It's mind boggling to me that so many bugs and glitches even made it into the game. I don't understand. It's almost as if the game wasn't even tested or played before release outside of quick play and the promotional MyGM and MyCareer conversations. And the ability to not save rosters, sliders, or settings?! Oh my goodness. I've said this for years, it seems as though 2k does not welcome our customization, because they may take it as insult to their game. I've always been in denial of that thought, until slowly but surely, more and more customization features have been taken from us. C'mon 2k! Y'all are better than this! You've let me and many others down.

I've been playing Mycareer on the Xbox One and the only problem I've been having is with the Park, which is a mess. I have had day to day injured players return after a couple games and I was able to do the 20/20 jump shooting drill with no issues. Are these bugs that are more common on PS4 or is it equal across both consoles and I've have just been lucky?

I hope this is fixed for all ASAP.

Well... game was working fine for me. Now post patch, GM mode takes 5+ minutes to load, and has froze twice on me when trying to start a game, getting an actual error code.

I turned my ps4 on 10 min ago, and still havent started playing yet

First thing I've noticed from this patch is how long GM mode is taking to load and the periodic freezing I'm seeing..

Don't bother starting over your MyCareer… I did and eventually got the same result after getting drafted

honestly, who is signing off on testing and letting out the game/patches into production? Completely unacceptable!

you know, if 500k people spent $10 in vc, that's an extra $5mil in their pockets. i think that's pretty reasonable to assume that's the case for 2k13/2k14. with all this extra money, why can't there be more testing or more devs hired to make the game even releasable? we know they didn't upgrade their servers, that's for sure.

There are things addressed in patch beyond two I mentioned earlier, including gameplay improvements. Hopefully you guys enjoy <s>#</s>NBA2K14

Can't understand why there are no patch notes to define the "things addressed in patch beyond two I mentioned earlier". The two he mentioned earlier are obviously the my career saving/freezing issue and the park. So WHAT else exactly did it address??

I hate to "go there", but somebody outta look into a class action law suite. We all bought a product and are being grossly affected by a broken product.
