CF - Career Mode - Be a Star

I don't know if this belongs here or should be under wishlist but does someone even cared about career mode?

I play as a player - not as a coach or owner. I went as a late round pick to the Packers and sit behind Aaron Rodgers and improve my stats till I can finally play. I not played one down so the statistics you will see is by simulation only and I even missed field goals on purpose so the score doesn't get to embarrassing - as well please mind that I play 10 minute quarters not even 15 minutes.

I can't even imagine that somebody tested this mode once - I mean you will see the statistics...

So basically Aaron Rodgers played now 9 games... 9 games means 360 minutes (because I play 10 minute quarters)

In 360 minutes (he not even stands on the field for all of them but we are nice and try to give the simulation a pass) - in 360 minutes he has thrown 611 passes (only 417 completions) for 4,217 yards (all time pass record here I come) with 31 TDs and 15 INTs. Yards throwing average is 468.6 yards.

WOW, seriously?

Our running game isn't so bad either... Lacy has 931 yards, 11 TDs and rushes for 103.4 yards a game...

Randall Cobb already has 1.340 yards recieving and is the top WR...

Gore is the top rusher with 1,071 yars - Lacy probably will get him down the road.

Like I said, all in 10 minute quarters and I didn't play one snap - so it's not because I'm so good or anything.

One thing I noticed is, that every play it doesn't matter what it is runs about 10 second of the clock. There is no clock running down any further and is just play after play after play. So the longest serious there was, were about 4 minutes and that is pretty long. Usually a series goes about 1 minute - if you have a few first down a little longer.

I really don't know what to say about such a effort

I guess it won't get better this year anymore. I hope that it gets better next year - this simulation bug was already in the other Madden games and it just destroys the player CF

WOW, after 17 games...

Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 7,351 yards. 49 TDs and 23 INTs. He attempted 1,068 passes and completed 741. He became the MVP of the season, deservingly so.

Lacy became the leading rusher. 1,978 yards and 24 rushing TDs.

Cobb broke all records ever. 188 receptions for 2,288 yards and 13 TDs. Nelson wasn't bad either. He had 152 receptions for 1,776 yards and 17 TDs. Jones had 125 receptions as well.

Clay Matthews had 24 sacks - new record as well. Jones had 159 tackles and Hawk 158.

Tramon Williams returned 7 picks for a TD, Shiels returned 4 picks as well as Burnett. If we total all defensive TDs by picks and fumbles it were 20 WOW

Probably this team should be going into the Hall of Fame as a unit. Imagine I would have played 15 minutes per quarter looooooooool

Do you supersim? That's why the stats are so unrealistic.

I'm pretty sure it forces you to supersim in player mode and you not playing

I tried it once and after 4 games Dwight Freeney had the sack record and Ryan Mathews had the rushing record so I stopped and went back to coach

In that mode you have to sim. There is no other way. You can only see and play if you are on the field.

I did sim till my next play and I also did sim play by play (I could see what happens on the field on the chart but not real action) and both were the same.

If I play as an coach I know it is way better because you have the run off etc. but I usually always play player-mode and it seems to be a problem for years. Last years Madden was pretty much the same.

The SuperBowl in the Snow ended 49-48 for us against the Broncos. I won't even bother to show the stats it was crazy.

We were most definitely the greatest Show on Snow

Try 5-7 min quarters.

This mode is fun but so frustrating because of the simmed stats vs having enough plays for your playing when playing. I found the best settings are to turn off accelerated clock and using 5 to 7 minute quarters.

Does the computer even use acc clock during sims?

You can only see and play if you are on the field.

Yeah with 5 Minute Quarters it seems pretty ok if you only on the bench and not playing yourselve
