When playing online vs somebody with a remarkable record

Say you run into somebody who is 55-2.... do you just quit and run for the hills (assuming they are really good)... or do you quit and run for the hills (assuming they are glitchy/cheesy/exploiter good)... or do you play them?

Because, I love to play those guys and beat them.

I once played a level 87 guy. He had I think over 100 wins but had close to 40 losses so I know he wasn't that bad of a cheeser. So I played him and lost in overtime. I'm only 14-6 online. I don't play as much.
    Favorite Teams:

    Michigan State Spartans
    Oregon Ducks
    Miami Hurricanes
    Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Central Michigan Chippewas (College I'm Attending)

I was in the top 50 about 2 weeks ago and anytime I play now and get someone eith a 27-1/110-8 type record I back out. Ive been glitched way too many times to waste 40 minutes of my time.
