How Do You Retire a charaxter in Madden 25

I know this maybe a silly question. But I cannot find the retire character screen in Madden 25. I would like to retire Jason Garrett and play with Jerry Jones. Can anyone help?

Go to manage roster. All the way to the right should be a retire option. It'll bring you to two options which say retire or create new character. If you hit create new character, you should be able to be Jerry Jones and still keep Garrett and the XP you already earned with him. If you just want to retire Garrett and be Jones and get a new coach. Just retire Garrett and then go back in and create Jones separately.
