Re: "TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 13-14
Just started my IU dynasty and played the first game against Chicago St. I won 59-40, pulling away in the 2nd half. Had pretty balanced scoring, and absolutely dominated the boards against them (39-22). Vonleh put up a double double. Had difficulty shooting with Ferrell (IU's leading scorer), but I'll chalk that up to not having played this game in months. Highlight of the game was definitely getting a steal with Troy Williams and running coast-to-coast for a big time slam. This season is going to be interesting for me because much like the real life Hoosiers, we have no great shooters and no real ball handlers beyond Yogi.
Game played similar to the real life game we had against them, other than the amount of fouls. I only had 4 fouls called on me and only had 2 called on Chicago St. I've adjusted my slider settings to try to get more fouls called. Also, I felt that fatigue never became a real issue (I was playing the bench just to simulate real life, not because my starters needed a breather), so I adjusted the fatigue settings around a bit. Also, I like to have a bit more realistic scoring so I'm going to bump up my game time to 15 and see how that plays.
Overall this game played astoundingly close to our real life game. Score was 59-40 with 12 minute halves which plays out to be 98-67 if I did 20 (real game was 100-72). I was 26 of 60 (real life we were 27-59).Comment

I like the input, but Chicago st wasn't one of the teams i edited this year so i don't know what to expect out of them. Not sure if you auto subs on or not, but if you did, when i did the final recheck, your team only has 6 players avg. 20+ min, everyone else is scrap. Indiana may not be that deep at all this year, we'll see. The game works best with a 9-man rotation, hopefully you saw action from Fischer,Robinson,Perea and Hollowell. I was hoping you'd play against a significant team and report it. Give me a rundown when you play amid-major or better. Also if you want any starters out after 3 minutes, change their stamina to 80. hope you didn't try to shoot with your PG right away. he's gotta pass the ball round firstJust started my IU dynasty and played the first game against Chicago St. I won 59-40, pulling away in the 2nd half. I do custom subs throughout the game, so I'm not sure how the game sub logic works.I like the input, but Chicago st wasn't one of the teams i edited this year so i don't know what to expect out of them. I just played @Washington and won 74-72 (15 minute halves). My team was really balanced scoring wise with my leading scorer having 15 points. The most notable part was that I couldn't miss from the 3 point line. I was 6/6 from beyond the arc, but I can tell you that it won't last because I've struggled shooting the 3's in my other games. For Washington, Andrew Andrews absolutely torched me. He was 11/13 and 4/4 beyond the arc for 30 points. A few of the 3's I can credit to myself for falling asleep on defense, but the guy was playing great and kept attacking the hoop. Like I said before, I turned up fouls and saw 15 fouls called on them, 12 on me. I also slightly bumped up fatigue rather than reduce stamina, but it became much more of an issue when I played a road game because I didn't get those stamina boosts.Comment

I was asked to upload the files directly, so I've attached them. If Deep wants me to take them down, I will.Attached FilesComment

Thanks for uploading. you did me a favor, still got flu like symptoms and have been sleeping.I do custom subs throughout the game, so I'm not sure how the game sub logic works.

Yeah, it's hard to win on the road in this game that's what i love about it. Usually just seconds after the jump ball you can press start and it'll show you how rattled your team is (like -5 for everyone) and it will take defense and a hot player to get out of it, otherwise, you're dead meat.
when i'm using a small/mid-major school against a team like Kansas, If a guy has a 70 three point rating, it'll turn into 66 just cuz the crowd is chanted Roc Chalk jay-Hawk" whatever. neutral sites will usually give you a 0 to -2 drop on your stats.
I never play a 2-3 zone because the CPU will have a free shot and light me up. I'll play 3-2, 2-1-2 and try to cause a TO.
**Also important, if you're playing with injuries "ON", the computer will reset all the lineups and rotation minutes and it will be anyone's guess on who you should watch out for.
What i do to avoid this is i turn injuries "ON" only when my game starts.
As soon as i get back to the main screen i turn it back off (if you sim just 1 day, there will be over 50 injuries, no joke) I still haven't found the slider that will stop massive injuries form happening during simulation. Does't matter if slider is at 0 or 99
Now if the team your playing has an injury during the game, when you get back to the main screen , you'd have to put back their lineup, otherwise the CPU is gonna do what they want.
And of course once you get to season 2, CPU messes with everything.
Now Wilcox (was programmed to be the star of the team, but you didn't even mention him. you must have put him in check after the first basket. Did you remember any dunks in the game?
I'm trying to get my season started with JMU (james Madison) which has the 2nd best music, (Youngstown st (Horizon) I'd say in #1. i think Georgia has that Sargent Slaughter music, that gets me hype.Last edited by Deepball757; 12-07-2013, 03:07 PM.Comment

Re: "TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 13-14
This is my first year downloading anything like this, the rosters look great and thank you for your hard work. I have one question: why do the announcers only say "Home team vs Away Team" now? is there any fix for this? thank youComment

I have tried like 20 times now and cant figure out why it wont load. I am doing everything I did the first time when it worked (step by step)Comment

Re: "TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 13-14
I think the problem might be that when I bring the file into the horizon package manager, it removes my profile from being the selected one, but I dont know how to make it not remove it.Comment

Re: "TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 13-14
What's up Hokie, good question. The way it works is any team that is not spelled out in entirely, the game won't recognize it's sound clip equivalent. Example NEC, Fairleigh Dickenson, the name is too long, thus game will just say "Home" "Away". If you edit a team name in any way, same thing. Even if it's from Michigan st. to Michigan st (no period is a problem)Comment
