Has anyone heard if we will have to restart Mygm mode after the third update?

My guess is the 3rd patch is a month or two away. Probably more like two than one.

There were never even any patch notes about what was in the 2nd patch.

If this is true.....I should have not bougth 2k14 on release day! Imagine, game released on Nov. 15 can only be played Jan 15 or worst mid February???

they're both unplayable because mygm/mycareer don't save or load properly, freezes in game, kick backs to dashboard or main menu screen, freeze when trying to purchase anything with VC, freezes mid game, etc. some times i'll get lucky and be able to load mygm, play a game and win, but then i'll instantly get kicked back to the main menu and lose my progress.

the only game mode that works is quick play, it's incredibly frustrating. i had zero issues when i played during launch, but as time went on the game gets progressively more buggy.

Same here I cant play MyGm mode and MyCareer...how disappointing. Must complain to 2K to fix it quickly.

NOPE. Because of my limited playing time (due to work and family), I dont have much time playing video games. So my games are very selective, and mostly sports, namely NHL and NBA.

The game sounds broke and they have yet to announce when they are going to fix it yet sell it for good money?


I did not realize its broke in every aspect in both modes

I saw in youtube somebody posted about how to go around the game if the sounds is broken (like chappy), try searching youtube.

I guess I'm lucky because through 20 games or so I've had no freezes or issues to speak of really. One day early on I had a load error and a report screen popped up. I reported the error then restarted the game and it's worked fine ever since.

I don't think that they've finished working on the 3rd Patch and I read that there's a two week turnaround once they submit it for approval. I'm hoping that it will be here in 2013, but my guess is we're still a month away. I'd love to see it hit before Christmas though.

I'm unsure if you will have to restart or not. I guess it depends if they can reset morale mid-MyGm or not. Personally, I'm loving MyGM despite the morale and injury issues. My plan has always been to restart with my Celtics once we had updated rosters, good draft classes and the 3rd patch. However, I'm growing attached to this Pels Gm that I've been playing so if we don't have to restart I may just stick with it. Either way I won't be too upset.

I bought my PS4 on launch day solely for the purpose of playing NBA 2K14 on next-gen. Sadly I haven't touched my PS4 in over a week now because my MyCareer is stuck (waiting for the patch) ... now I kind of feel bad for all those people on launch day who missed out on the PS4...

I would start a MyGM file but with all those complaints about the trade logic and absurd VC usage, it's kind of put me off.
