Watching the Steelers Dolphin game in a straight blizzard. lol this game should be the poster boy for weather effects on gameplay. the 2nd quarter just started and there has already been plenty drops on gimme passes, awful throws, slips, botched snaps, players running gingerly, fumbles...lol this gonna be a good one.

Yeah, I don't have that game but I'm watching Philly Detroit and it was crazy, never seen it that bad.

The Eagles - Lions game is just crazy. SIX INCHES of snow on the field. It's having a huge impact on the game.

its finally letting up a little in Pittsburg. the first Qtr had some of the heaviest snow ive seen during a game. Fun to watch tho- lol. except for the score.....Ifmy steelers loose to "MIAMI" in the snow after Tannehill states its his first ever snow game.....smh

oh well back to Madden, I hope EA keeps these games mentioned today on file to model their "gameplay in the weather". im also hoping its dynamic, the snow has really lightened up and the announcer just said the snow should turn to rain by he end of the game.

Not only effect, but visually, snow needs to stick to helmets and such. As it is now, all helmets look like they're straight out of the box, lol.

I agree I wish it would impact gameplay and also show kickers clearing spots and snow getting stuck in helmets

Its gotta happen. Its a MUST!! the elements have to effect the gameplay and the players way more than it does. They weren't even thinking about kicking an extra point in philly today. I know Detroit tried but how did that work out? lol. right now I could kick a 50 yarder in the snow in M25 like its nothing. It's gotta change asap

Agreed passing and kicking should be dramatically impacted and there also needs to be different types of snow (heavy with accumulation and just flurries).

Cosmetically I'd like to see camera guys on the sideline and the "living worlds" crowds not wearing shorts and short sleeves in the snow when it's 20 degrees out.

Then allow the User to select the temperature themselves.

No, because the tournament players would be mad if a snap gets fumbled, or a place holder drops the ball, or the ball carrier slipping and falling on his way to the enzone. Nope, can't have those things in. Just the visuals of rain/snow and wind that hardly matters.

The snow game between the Eagles and Lions was a classic...Even better than the snow game between the Raiders and Patriots in the playoffs of 2002...

Another effect I would like to see is from the Fog Bowl between the Bears and Eagles, another classic weather game that should be in Madden...

lol I know what you're getting at but weather has been an option set before pickup games in Madden for as long as I can remember, so that wouldn't even make sense for EA to try to pull that in particular haha then again I don't know how Madden tournaments decide the weather (I'm assuming they just set it to sunny lol)
