Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
Is it true about player progression? I heard to turn it on and just not do anything. This being since the CPU doesn't receive the points, but does this mean that players will never grow?
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, sorryComment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
Depends on who you are using and who you are playing against. Against a good defensive front or if you are using a team with an average offensive line, it takes me over 20 carries to crack 100 yards. Some games I been held under 100.
Trying to run or pass with a poor line is a terrible and humbling experience.Comment

Sounds good. I've never been a stellar player, and was thinking of picking this up. I'd love to play on AP with no slider adjustments and have a challenging experience. I have it for 360, and really enjoy it for what it is. I must be getting old.Depends on who you are using and who you are playing against. Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
I played a snow game and noticed the head coach finger tips were red from the cold. I also saw a lot of over throws and off target throws in the game as well.
My favorite defensive end move to do is the inside shoulder dip. Pretty nasty move to do. After a few times though the CPU AI will adjust and start double teaming against it. But when that happens I will just hit them with the spin move.
Mainly though I don't user control my defensive lineman too often though. I rather be one of the safeties. But one can definitely generate a User pass rush when ever they want if they choose to do so. Just like the User can lead their WR and place the ball where ever they want as well if they have a good enough QB.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
Im having a hard time getting a consistent run game going on the ps4, now with the higher rated teams its a little easier but still a problem. I finding myself running into my linemen on running plays. Now i also own the xbox one also and i dont find myself running into my linemen as much as i do on the ps4. This is with default normal speed on pro and all pro. Anyone else seeing this on either system?Rise of the Sim King (Striving for Sim Supremacy)https://youtu.be/TalUkHIEnOM

If you running into your own linemen a lot, you are going too fast.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
If you don't sprint, you're often caught by back side pursuit or on off tackle plays, by CBs and OLBs coming in from the side.
In online games, it seems some players have success by using right stick moves to shift around gaps between linemen tied up in blocks.
But you also inadvertently cause the runner to dip or cut with slight unintentional movements to the right stick.
Try some pitches. Those can be effective, often with pancakes and even suction blocking at the edge, blocks or shoves to the back of defenders.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
this happens right after i get the hand off, and i not touching the sprint button. But if i turn the speed down to slow, which does help some, but then the cpu offense does'nt move the ball as well compared to normal speed.Rise of the Sim King (Striving for Sim Supremacy)https://youtu.be/TalUkHIEnOM

How are you consistently pulling off the shoulder dip edge rush? I loved that from the 360 version but it rarely happens for me on the PS4. The CPU never does it. And if I get lucky I can do it once every other game. What's your technique? Sliders?Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
I just played 2.5 games, Steelers vs Cincy and couldn't pull it off once. I tried to time right before contact, right after contact, and after they are thoroughly engaged. I get a breakaway animation or an underneath swim move. It must be a setting im using. if I can get this working and the infinity engine physics working like I want, I will be completely satisfied till next august.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)
Is this game worth getting?
I got frustrated with the PS3 version because I hate the fact that it needs all this fine tuning with the sliders.
Is the running game still over powered?
I'd just love it if it was more like NBA2K, ready out of the box.
