I came home today to play NBA 2K14 on Xbox One which I have had since launch week. It is asking me to set up MyPlayer as if I have never played the game. I guarantee all the VC I've earned to this point will be gone as well. Anyone else?

Same thing happened to me but as soon as i saw it was making me re do MyPlayer, i just reset my PS4 and everything went back to normal after that. -

It happened to me too, but I thought it was asking me to create a second player, so I made a new one, with a new name (Dennis Johnson). Dumb! I later changed my MyCareer guy back to his starting name (Bob Cousy), but now his social media handle is from the second name (@Dennis).
Anyone know how I can reset my social media handle? I thought I saw an option to do it somewhere, but can't find it now for the life of me.Comment

Just restart the game. You don't lose any VC.

I had that problem too. Had to restart my console. Now I have another problem, As soon as I try and load the mycareer from main menu it shows loading ******************* and then kicks me to dashboard. Happens 4 out of 5 times I try and load mycareer, have to restart my console a few times to properly load the save. smhComment

happened to me too, today.
ps4 users, you can press the PS button to minimize the app and then hit options to force close the game and restart it. that way you don't need to restart the ps4.|| rv motion graphics. ||Comment

This just happened to me too, i reset the game, restarted my ps4. Pretty much tried everything. I guess i will wait later today since i am going to the mall. Got a good start on my season and halfway through the season too.Comment

I had this, but I decided to edit it back to my guy anyways and clicked continue. My save is still there, just doesnt connect. So for me and some people at least it doesn't erase your guy if you continue, but instead just updates your name and appearance.Comment

Same thing happened to me. I restarted the game, and then everything looked great. When I went to MyPlayer, i was shocked. MyPlayer was named Paul Walker, and my roommate's on his account was named Dennis Yeung. What happened? The names switched.... No idea how the hell this happened. Saves are still on the right account though. The companion app totally lost it to, says I have 1,620 VC while the game says I have 10,750. No idea what is going onComment
