I've got 7,225 to spend on Ultimate Team gold packs and I'm hoping for a star of the week Kyle Korver or a legend Allen Iverson.

Has anyone gotten more than 2 gold players from the 5,000 point gold premium packs?

I'm trying to decide whether to grab one 5,000 pack, which guarantees only 2 gold players, or grab two 3,200 packs, which guarantees 4 gold players.

It seems like the latter would be the better deal.

Some people play Ultimate Team to climb up the head-to-head leaderboard. In that setting, you compete against random people's Ultimate Teams and rise or fall in the rankings.

Others just play Ultimate Team to collect players and build up their roster. That can be done by playing against the computer in Fantasy Showdowns.

To do either, you need to win games and earn points, which you will redeem for card packs. Card packs contain a mix of NBA players and RPG-like items.

Well, I opened a 5,000 point pack and got:

OJ Mayo
Jrue Holiday
DeAndre Jordan (rare)
Andre Miller
T-Wolves black sleeved jersey
Jazz old school road jersey
2 contracts (rare)

So I guess the 5,000 point packs are actually the best value, assuming you get at least 4 gold players per pack.

Gotcha. I don't do online so I guess that's where there is no appeal there for me.

I've actually been playing exclusively offline. The fantasy challenges can be fun, though it takes forever to build up enough coins to buy a decent card pack.

I ended up opening 2 gold packs and 2 gold premium packs today.

While I did get some good NBA players (Granger, Bosh, Brook Lopez, Calderon, et al.), I did not score a legend or a star of the week player.

So I guess the odds are extremely low for getting the special guys.

I would recommend saving up for the 5,000 point Gold premium pack, if you are going to open cards.

I still haven't seen a single legend player or a star of the week player, even after opening 4 gold packs and 4 gold premium packs.

But at least I got two DeAndre Jordans and two Jrue Holidays!

I just spent 20 dollars on 2, 200 points and still can't get a legend. they should give you a legend after you complete the challenge. also wished you could get players from different times in their career like madden.

Is there a list of the legends available somewhere? Or at least an estimation of how many legends were included?
