This game brought Charges/and1 fouls and great ball movement. Loving how the CPU adjust depending on what you are doing but yet it's still realistic



Monta/Dirk combo is just downright NASTY

Just got blasted by the Mavs 40-51 in LA

It's not the prettiest game but I can play all modes without crashes.

Hopefully the other one gets fixed/kinks worked out so we all have options.

Well you did say "you all" so I assumed you were talking about folks in here and not just specifically Boiler.

But yeah like 24 said, keep the impressions on THIS game coming. No need for folks to CONSTANTLY bring up the other game every single time(they know who they are because they've been posting in this same thread)with the same old "Now I see why I love this game after playing 2k" posts or any other shots.

I know that'll probably be hard for some folks but if you(speaking in general) like this game so much, then there's really no reason to keep bringing the other game up every time.

But again, keep the impressions coming!

What's the point in coming to this thread repeatedly to chime in if you don't like the game? What's the point of playing this game for "comic relief" as another poster stated a few pages back?

Since you brought me into this, I'll chime in. What does it matter if e likes the game or not? I'll repeat: at one point it was for comic relief. Sometimes, it still is! It's also for change of pace. At the end of the day, it's my time. Why does it matter to you why he or I are here? Even if it's to watch you guys go on and on about the same thing, as long as we are entertained by it or the game, that doesn't affect you.

I deleted the rest because it was covered already. Keep your impression of Live on Live only. Stop bringing in 2k and there will be peace. It's that simple.

Ellis went to the basket quite a bit against me. He even went to the fadeaway 2-3 times. I haven't seen a lot of guards do that, so it was pretty sweet.

WTF, you were right about Dirk. After reading your impressions about how he beat you in a multitude of ways, I wanted to go up against him. He was hitting 3's, posting up on the block, and mixing in a bit of a midrange game. Really good stuff.

On a side note, I think we all know that it's really hard to get offensive rebounds in this game. But, I ended up with 10 of them against the Mavs with the Pistons. I had never been Detroit before, but Monroe and Drummond were just constantly getting position on Dirk and Dalembert. It was really good to see.

Yeah, Dirk/Ellis is tough. Dirk is a terror to try to cover. He'll take 1 dribble, just enough to get the defense moving and rise up for the jumper.

Flight, pretty awesome that Nash fouled out. The fouls are definitely increasing.

I'm undecided whether to take it or not, I have read many negative opinions I wanted to ask you who have the game a few things:
1) It is true that during the game there is the festival of the dunks?
2) there were patches to improve graphics and gameplay?
3) It is true that the graphics seem even PS2?

1) Game is not a festival of dunks. There are several per game, but I'm seeing them less and less. Part of it is learning the defense more, and secondly things are being tweaked daily.
2) There are that improve gameplay, and there have been updates daily to Synergy. There's no official word on graphical update for Live 14.
3) No, the graphics are not PS2. That's absurd. It's graphics are better than Live 2010 on the 360 and PS3. It is at least on par with Last Gen graphics, but there is a photo thread and a video thread, make your own deductions.

The reviews are before the 2 bug fixes and Synergy being in full swing. The game in my opinion is 100x better than it was at release.

No sliders yet. I don't need them other than for fouls.

Really considering getting the retail copy. Been playing the demo a lot the last 2 weeks and I've been liking the game a lot more. It's a good change of pace for when I overload on 2K. Reminds me of the old days of having fun playing both. 2 different and fun experiences.

Anyways, I asked in the online thread, but who knows how long it will be before there is another post in there. I wanted to ask the guys that did have the retail copy if the online games had improved. That's really the only thing holding me back from getting it at the moment.

There are foul sliders, and that is all. Off of my memory they are:
Reach In Foul
Loose Ball Foul
Charging Foul
Blocking Foul

I can't tell you one way or another. I can say that I made the change, and I am happy with my choice of game. If you can download the demo, and enjoy what the demo brings, you'll definitely enjoy the retail game, as it's vastly improved.

Wish I could answer this. Unfortunately I don't play online at all.

I can say that if you're enjoying the demo, you'll definitely enjoy the retail single player, as it's far and away a better experience. You started out like myself. Getting into the demo a day at a time. I'm loving my time with Live now. Great experience and I'm glad I made the leap.

But if you're an online player, I can't make any sort of recommendation. The last I heard, it was pretty laggy.

my impresions with the game is that is a good alternative... i would say at the moment of a week of playing, I'll give it a 6.5-6.9 rating, maybe 7. Thats just me.
