    Rb observation

Grabbed a leader james today for a good price and was really impressed with his quickness. I run a lot of read option and zone plays so i employ a stable scat backs. He looks like my new fave

Heres my quick list of these guys
    1 leader james 95 sp 97 acc.
    2. Rookie johnson. 98sp 98acc
    3. Leader ford 99sp 99acc. Hes an 81 hb
    4. Rookie spiller
T 5. Gold spiller. Great Bargain back
    T 5. Tc charles

I prefer these guys over a lot of other popular backs. Including hw walker and Hw ap. but i do enjoy elite gearhart on occasion to mix it up ..always falls forward. Would love to try leader george out but hes too high priced for me.

    Whats your top 5?

    Re: Rb observation

Well I go mostly running out of I-forms, so I prefer power. Of guys I've used so far, it goes
    1. HW Campbell
    2. HW Peterson
    3. HW Walker
    4. Elite Richardson
    5. Rookie Chris Johnson for screens and he used to be my returner.

      Re: Rb observation

I run Auburns playbook and run a ton of option, almost always put a back in the slot as well.

Leader Sproles was my slot back. Constantly overwhelmed defensive personnel.

          Re: Rb observation

I also run Auburn O, sometimes switch to Ole Miss PB

I run a lot of zones and splits so power is important

          1. Epic Bo 99 Trucking
          2. CV Williams
          3. HW Campbell
          4. Leader LaMichael (always falls forward except on big hits)
          5. CV McFadden (best 3rd option player IMO)

His catch was slightly better than Elite James if I recall. I don't remember exactly, and I don't have the card anymore.

As for McFadden, I liked him better as my backfield runner. I felt like Sproles had better first step on the edge, which I always thought was more important than pure speed for my 3rd option.

I run the Wisconsin O which has a lot of power runs but also has the read option.

              CV Williams
              HW Campbell
              CV McFadden

I don't pass to the HB that often unless it's a screen.

I have never used bo but he seems like he would have to be the best
Then I would say leader lamichael because I just picked him up (for 8K) and he is great, great speed, moves, surprisingly powerful, great receiver as well
                Then I'd say CV Ricky
                Then leader George
                Then hw AP

Just my opinion and of who I have used

I want a Leader LaMichael, wish I could find him for 8k lol

But I've never tried any AP. What's he like?

The way I've been playing offense lately pretty much any runningback I use could be successful. I start leader Montee Ball an he has been very good for me. I am an advocate for ball security in real life and the game so his 97 carry is perfect. He hasn't fumbled and I don't intend on him ever fumbling.

I can dig this. In my system 85 Freshman Peterson and 85 Freshman Ingram put up nice numbas.

My 99 Vick + CV Ricky + TC Charles makes up my backfield for a 2 back set... 70% of my plays are zone read option, and with Vick running to the outside and a powerful Ricky up the middle it is pretty unstoppable

Lol like an hour after I posted this I saw a Leader Eddie George up for like 50k and went for it. Didn't want to miss out on him before his price goes up like I did with Von Miller. Also picked up GOTW Rudi Johnson for cheap.

I replaced my Cv Williams with the Leader Spiller yesterday. Spiller has incredible breakaway speed and on tosses he can get around the edge and rip of 20 yarders like it is nothing. I went back to Williams after a season and he is boring to run with..

I'm actually on the verge of starting spiller right now. I sub him in more often than I have any other back, and he plays fantastic for me. He's returned at least 4 kickoffs for a TD in one season and he almost breaks a punt for a Td every time. Love him.
