What Team To Rebuild ? (MyGM POLL)
Ok, now that patch 3 is out, I'm officially starting MyGM. I'm determined to play all 82 games, probably 8-9 minute quarters. I want some input on a team to pick. I like to choose a weak team, that I have to rebuild and take to the top, which makes it fun especially on HOF, because its realistic. If you guys believe a different team is the right choice, choose other and post the team. Thanks guys !28Raptors0%6Jazz0%0Cavaliers0%2Celtics0%3Mavericks0%2Bucks0%8Grizzlies0%076'ers0%7Tags: None -
Re: What Team To Rebuild ? (MyGM POLL)
#SixerNation…All you need is 1 player lol. We have a future superstar PG in MCW who can defend and play the passing lanes at an elite level ALREADY. Nerlens will be a solid defensive / athletic Center (Dude has put on 30+ pounds while we are holding him out this year) he is a freak athlete who can block shots and catch lobs. ET can defend, rebound and play the Point forward OR the 2 guard (leaving room for Parker / Wiggins / Randle / Gordon in that order) ET has also shown the ability to score the ball this year (averaging 20 / 6 / 4 right now).
Move Spencer Hawes to the 4 and run your offense through him in the high post (He is already one of if not the best passing big the game plus his 3 point shooting range is invaluable). If you don't want to watch the whole video the my favorite play is at 7:50…point guard type vision.

Get Jabari parker preferably…wiggins or julius randle or even aaron gordon (all of which will be able to play the 3 on the next level). This team can compete for a chip in the next 3-5 years.

Re: What Team To Rebuild ? (MyGM POLL)
Based on real life and not silly 2K trade logic, I'd say the Bucks would be most challenging because, unlike the other lottery teams, their future is not as bright.
- Raptors have a solid foundation in Valanciunas, Amir and very valuable assets in Lowry, DeRozan, Ross, etc.
- Jazz pretty much have their starting five (young) core in-tact.
- Cavaliers have a star in Irving + many moveable assets.
- Celtics have a star in Rondo whom they can package a trade around to bring in more valuable future assets. Plus they have solid players in Bradley, Green, Crawford as well as potential prospects in Sullinger and Olynyk.
- Mavericks may have a short window but they are still a playoff contender and can definitely move their pieces around easily.
- Grizzlies have a solid foundation in Conley and Gasol. They are still a playoff contender nonetheless.
- 76ers have a solid future core in MCW and Noel. They also have valuable assets for trade in Turner, Young & Hawes.
Now as for the Bucks, I would consider their top players to be very good role players and nothing more because they are just too inconsistent. They might possibly have some potential in Henson/Sanders but apart from that, there are no potential superstars or any 'leaders' so to say. Furthermore, they are the least valuable team in the NBA according to Forbes. Perhaps you could turn that around?
Personally, I will be doing the Knicks but trading away their 2014 pick to Denver to make it realistic.Last edited by vtcha; 12-20-2013, 12:09 AM.Comment

Re: What Team To Rebuild ? (MyGM POLL)
Picked up Cavaliers myself and Kyrie Irving is a joy to play with. Andrew Bynum as well when he isn't injured (and he's been injured a lot) Made the playoffs 3rd or 4th seed somehow, and facing Pistons in the playoffs. Traded away Jarrett Jack, Earl Clark, Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett and a 1st round draft pick for 2015 and perhaps someone else I'm missing to acquire Jeff Green and O.J. Mayo and a 2014 1st overall draft pick. Maybe unbalanced but considering O.J. has been more or less a flop, Jeff Green is still a starter at best, then I don't see high potential Bennett/Waiters (in-game) and 77 overall Jarrett Jack as terrible exchanges.
With all that said, I definitely say Bucks is the weakest of them all. They're just an unattractive team, unattractive city, no future star, no one worth tuning in for. Just a terrible brand.Comment

With this said, I really wish 2k took a page out of madden's book and allow relocations.Comment

I'd add the Suns to the list also. In real life they have a decent record but in the game they need a starting SG, SF, and PF.
Bledsoe and Dragic are about the only good players on that roster. Okafor is decent but he is aging and will eventually need to be replaced.Comment
