Can't be a lockdown defender at SF?

I was wasting away VC to get my player to get the 90 On ball defense requirement...well It's freaking capped at 85 so I can't get it (noticed the cap to late). Well defensive low post is capped at 85 also. So why can't a athletic SF be be LockDown Defender?

I think only Defensive players can be lockdown defenders. My buddy is a defensive SG and he said he doesn't really notice any change with lockdown defender being on. I've got an all-around SF and can't get it either, but I've got other sig skills (chasedown artist, pick pocket) on that help with defense.

I made a 6'8 all around sf, and it's capped at 85....isn't a small forward supposed to be able to do a little bit of everything?

Kinda dumb, especially on Park where everyone has posterizer on which is about the most op sig skill.

Yes, athletic sgs can get lockdown defender. Their on ball defense cap is at 90. Its stupid that SFs cant get lockdown defender unless you're defensive.

I know all around PG and Pass 1st PG can have Lock down Defender.

Sure can. That's what I am. Try adding on the ankle brace. It gives like +4 on ball d (if you put both on)
