Did I miss the memo or did they take that out? I remember you could put yourself in the game as a created player in the gm mode, but I don't see that anywhere.

Just create a draft class, pick an appearance you like or keep creating new ones till you find one and edit eveything else. Than make sure you have the right pick.

Yes. 2k removed the CAP tools on next gen.

Instead, you can have any 1 out of 23 of their 2k game coders' faces to choose from for your MyPlayer appearance.

Because 2K decided we ALL wanted to look like variations of Mike Wang, instead of ourselves

- Mike Wang with short hair
- Mike Wang with an Afro
- Mike Wang with a Mohawk
- Mike Wang with a beard
- Mike Wang bald
- and so on
- Pick one

That doesn't sound like a game we want to play. Sounds more like a game 2k wants us to play. This really sucks.

I'm so confused. If I create a player in myplayer, I could only use him right? Why did they butcher 2k? Seem like they did this overnight because last years wasn't like this at all.

You can only create a MyPlayer.
But there are only 23 options for faces to choose from. (ie the faces are the 2K development team)

You use your same MyPlayer to play in both Career mode... AND MyGM mode.

So sometimes your MyPlayer is on the court doing crossovers, or behind a desk crunching numbers. Lol.

Agreed, it doesn't make any sense.

It was a very rushed development process, is the only thing we can conclude.

You mean you have to stick with the set faces? You can't edit? That extremely sucks.

I might do the unthinkable and get NBA Live. I heard it wasn't too bad, but at least it gives you the freedom to do things in the gm mode.
