    Strategy sliders (NBA 2K11-esque)

If you are looking for straight up back and forth, hard to score, strategic sliders. I have found the answer, and it comes from the best 2K ever; NBA 2K11.

    User/CPU
    Inside Shot Success 45
    Close Shot Success 45
    Medium Shot Success 50
    Three Point Shot Success 45
    Layup Success 46
    Dunk in Traffic Frequency 50
    Dunk in Traffic Success 42
    Pass Accuracy 50
    Alley-Oop Success 50
    Contact Shot Success 42

    Inside Contact 100
    Driving Contact 100
    Layup Take off 100
    Layup Release 100
    Jumpshot Gather 100
    Jumpshot Release 100
    Help Defense Strength 50
    Steal Success 25

Attributes, everything default to 50, except ...
    On Ball Defense 70

    Foul Sliders:
    Over the back 58
    Charge 70
    Blocking 70
    Reaching 70
    Shooting 55
    Loose Ball 50

    Tendencies, everything 50, except ...
    Look for post players 80
Go for on ball steals 5

Played two games with these, I won the first game Nets 87, Jazz 83. I lost the second game Bulls 103, Nets 87.

With these sliders, defense actually matters, points in the paint is reduced big time. Except, the computer will take a lot of shots. They took 100 shots as I only took 76. I guess if you play right and no turnovers, box out on rebounds, etc you will probably even it out.

Good luck, and have fun. Post results.

Do you ever make contested shots with jump defense at 100 for both?

I was using the 100s for defense as well with the exception of 100 for Help D as well on HOF. Great results as you have stated. Props to you sir.

Next game I fire up I will definitely post them but the game I played earlier Nuggets(me) vs. Rockets at Pepsi Center. I won 91-85 from what I remember Howard and Faried both had double doubles. 20 FT att for me and 16 for them. They had 48 PIP I had 40. That's all I remember

These aren't bad. I played a game Nuggets (me) @ Grizzlies. I won 96-92. Few key stats that should be noticed. I shot 46% they only shot 38%. We both shot around 30% from 3. They had 44 PIP I had 40. I had 11 turnovers while they only had 6.

                    Re: Strategy sliders (NBA 2K11-esque)

Game feels like 2K11, I love it. My only problem, and it is very minor is the amount of offensive rebounds and shots the CPU takes; then again Brook Lopez is rated 59 Rebound, Garnett 80 opposed to Boozer 91 and Noah whose pretty high as well. Should have changed my PoE to "Crash Defensive Glass".

On another note, when I lost to the Bulls, I couldn't make one three, I was 0/5 from three point. Couldn't get any good looks, totally different game than the Jazz game. Fourth quarter was a battle, we went into the 4th with Nets 65, Bulls 62. Bulls got out in front 96-85; the game was gridlocked at 96-85 for awhile until the Bulls got an And1 with Noah in the final two minutes and I eventually lost 103-87. Should have been 101-87, as there was 26 seconds on the clock, damn CPU is so unsportsmanlike hitting a layup. Love the feel of the game.

The Jazz game was awesome. First quarter 31-18, half was 44-41. I had control the entire game and won 87-83.

Hope these sliders work out for you guys. These sliders are just 2K11 Simulation style.

I tried these sliders in Allstar difficulty.
Too inside play yet, too blocks (User side) and CPU made all shots.

I do not find for the moment some sliders oriented simulation, real game with of mid-range shots, post players game and CPU missed.

Poke's sliders can to be the good (in looking last screen).

To each his own. I see a good game of basketball being played here. I see A LOT of post play, especially with the Look For Post Players tendency set to 80. Boozer was utilized a lot and brought out a chess match. Bringing in a double team in the post, he would kick it to the open man on the perimeter. I loved it.

I will go to try in Superstar difficulty.
I think that the CPU will go to be stronger yet on shots success and inside drives.

How to limit the CPU inside drives ?
I would like a laid game without artifices but with a human side.

With the sliders the way they are on contact and defense, inside scoring is very hard. Bulls got 5 offensive rebounds in a row and none of their layups would fall with Lopez and Garnett's presence in the paint. It was a fun fight until Noah finally got the lay in. I even have trouble in the post and I love it! Superstar is the way to go. I also loved how Boozer missed a few midrange shots wide open (on Superstar). Very good balance.

On the paper it makes you want.

How many blocks on totality (User/CPU) ?
Do you play on 12 minutes quarters ?
