How do you stop the fastbreak?

It seems impossible to d up people that are turboing the whole game but is even nore difficult to stop the auto fastbreak. No matter how slow I play they always start a fastbreak and im not mad or anything but I just cant stop it.

I am playing myteam currently in 6 seed. But this happens to me in quick matches too.

Lol "foul them". Do you have your settings to "limit transition"?

Try to limit your turnovers as much as possible!!! That is what leads to the opponents' fast breaks and easy points.

Move the crash offensive glass slider way down, so that your team gets back on defense faster.

as soon as you shoot... dont wait to see if the shot goes in... switch to your pg and start sprinting back

Turnovers and shot selection. If you shoot a contested 3 or midrange jump shot chances are they'll control the player that contested your shot and make them go turbo towards their own basket hence explaining why they always get FB points

Sprint back on defense then switch to another one of your teammates and sprint back on defense. Also I always take away the pass and make the ball handler take it to the rim then contest or block the shot. He's either gonna make, miss or get fouled but at least you dictate what he does!

i must have explained because you guys think i dont know how to play basketball lol.

i dont turn the ball over and i take good shots but they still go on the fastbreak.

i will try to set off reb slider down to see if that helps.

and that setting "limit transition" is that something new they added?

                          Here is what matters:

                          1. As people have said, don't turn the ball over

                          2. Make shots. If you make the shot, the other team cannot get in transition. If you can shoot around 50% in a game and grab some offensive rebounds it really keeps the other team from getting easy buckets on the fast break.

Honestly, I think it is too easy to stop the fastbreak. Just sit in front of the ball handler and in the angles of the streaking players on the side. You almost always can get a steal.
