Madden 25 Next Gen - How's Your CFM Going?

Didn't see this thread for next-gen so I decided to make it. So, how IS your CFM going? I plan on starting on a new one with a team that has a variation of play styles, like the Panthers.

In season 2 of my Patriots franchise and having deja vu. Despite letting a lot of free agents (Wendell, Edelman, Ninkovich, Fletcher, and Carter) all walk after Season 1, and simulating 6 games of the season with injuries on, we went 15-1, clinched homefield and 1st round bye, knocked San Diego out of the playoffs again in the Divisional Round, and now face Manning's Broncos again for the AFC Championship. Peyton was the only QB to throw for more yards than Brady, and if it wasn't for a 11-seconds left, 4th down hail mary TD in last year's AFC Championship Game, Denver would have won instead of New England, so this time around should be interesting.

Currently on week 8 with the Ravens, we are sitting at 2-5. Biggest reason is my slow adjustment in picking up the passing game, it also doesn't help my o-line is like Swiss cheese. Going to try and make a run for the plays-offs but I need to stop throwing up INTs.

Did you keep pre-existing injuries on? How's your running game?

When it come to CFM what is the purpose of playing an online frachinse by yourself? I was playing around with the leagues and they all seem to be private with 1 player, so I was just curious.

I can't get out of the preseason without raging about the stupid flaws in the game. I tried turning off the injuries for the preseason (as the IR doesn't work) but then got mad because auto-substitutions don't work making the game just ridiculous with injuries because nobody ever subs out.

Keep track of franchise stats and update player XP over the internet. Major drawback IMO is the risk of getting disconnected from the EA server, in which case you have to restart the game (once you're re-connected to the EA servers) in order for it to progress.

Since I can't play NBA2k, it is time to give Madden some love. I'm going to try to provide weekly update on my Browns Owner's Mode. I'm currently going into week 3, so to kick things off here is the CFM reset.

Yes, and it's above average surprisingly. Rice is in the top 12 in most of the major rushing stats.

Flacco through week 10 has 15 TDs and 21 INTs. I've never finished a season with more INTs then TDs and never had a losing season. Both are possible with the way things are going.

                        Browns 24 (3-0) Vikings 17 (1-2)

The Browns catch a break with Peterson unable to play in the game. Still this proved to be a very tough game for the Brownies as they fell behind 10-0 in the 1st quarter. Jason Campbell and company struggled to move the ball early in the game. When they did move the ball disaster stuck. Campbell threw a couple picks and was sacked 7 times in the ball game. 3rd Down Conversions were rare for the Browns tonight.

Luckily, the defense played a good game. They only forced one turnover, however they kept the Vikings in check most of the game. Gerhart did rush for 122 yards, but 55 of those came on one play in the fourth quarter. The Browns rally down 17-7 in the fourth via a couple Beanie Wells TD's, in fact Beanie had all 3 touchdowns for the Browns and 95 yards on 20 carries in the game. Jason Campbell finished 30 of 40 for 303 yards and 2 INT's.

                        Next Game: Bengals (1-2) @ Browns (3-0)

Just finished season 1. The Denver Broncos defeated the Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl. Peyton Manning decides to retire.

I'm controlling all 32 teams but I'm focusing on my Detroit Lions. Finished 8-8 year 1. Fired Schwartz, looking towards a brighter future!

Just finished the regular season of my second season with the Colts. Went 14-2 and got the first seed in the AFC. Both losses came against Jacksonville and of course that's who I'm playing in the divisional round, should be a good one.

Moved the Browns to 5-0. Beat the Bengals 27-13 and the Bills 34-31 in OT. Weeded broke his collar bone vs the Bills. We kicked a FG at the end of regulation to send the game to OT and then another one in the last minute of OT to win.

Before the Bills game I signed Barner for a change of pace. Also cut my kicker Graham who missed several kicks and picked up a kid with a strong leg out of WMU.

                              The Lions are up next.
