Anyone ever see a long rebound?

I've only seen a long rebound towards the sidelines. Nothing in the direction of the top of the key, but once or twice when a three was taken from the elbow and it bounces off hard in the opposite direction. But that's also super rare.

I have actually seen quite a few of these. Even happened a few times on FTs.

Nope...only thing I've seen that really compares is mis-timed rebounds, or times when a player in position inexplicably does not grab the rebound so the ball travels a bit.

I've seen a few of them too, so they do happen.
Haven't thought about them not being that prominent.

I've seen one. I recently saw Jackson Ellis shoot a three and the shot bounced off the front of the rim and he got his own rebound at the top of the key. It bounced straight back to the arch.

There has always been a shortage of long rebounds; intentionally and unintentionally tipped out rebounds in the NBA 2k games. PFs and Cs have slowly had their ability to rebound reduced without consideration for the lack of long rebounds.

The more I pllay the more I see the rim physics as being outdated. The sounds need to be chunkier. Listen to swishes at Dallas games, that's a beatuiful sound. And yeah rebounds need to be less predictable.

I've seen it but not often enough. Times I've seen it CPU missed the shot and got its own rebound. Never one where CPU missed or I missed and I get the rebound.

I see a lot of unintentionally tipped rebounds. Having some intentional ones coded in would be nice. Would also be interesting to have more long rebounds to get the guards & offense some boards and return some advantages to defensive big men on the interior.

Rim physics is actually better last gen. Also, waaaay too many swishes this gen.

Yes, and the ball seems to have no weight to it when it swishes through.

The NBA Live rim looks great. Have any of you guys seen what the rim physics are like?
