That was probably my post the OP was referring to.
I interpret reaction time as the defender's ability to react to a pass;therefore, lowering it should decrease that ability, thus making him slower to react. However, the opposite seemed to be true when I was testing this slider: the reaction time seem to increase as I decreased the slider. I went back to playing with it at 50 (after discovering the pass coverage slider was the culprit to what I was experiencing), so it's a non-issue for me now.
I also think the tackle slider is backwards.
