I don't really have an issue with IGN or anything, but I thought it was funny and sly to see them slip this line in there:

None of these problems were present during IGN's pre-release review experience, surfacing only after the game's release, and mounting steadily since then.

That is called covering one's tail.

I've never really trusted IGN with any sports game reviews. Most of the time they have no clue what they're talking about to begin with.

REALLY??? REALLY???? Do you think 2k fans will be appeased with this??? All those FREE VC doesnt help either. I started playing myGM after patch #3 then I need to pay VC to fix the rotation of the team??? I guess 2k thinks that we're stupid.

Remove the VC...improve the servers..or else no 2k15 for me.

Throw in a regular Association mode alongside MyGM, and sliders in MyCareer...and then maybe I'll consider 2K15....after I get the 'OK' from the sim-heads on OS.

Finally. IGN is the big dog and now maybe 2k will get off their *** and fix the damn problem. I haven't been able to play MyCareer or MyGM for 2 damn weeks.

Hard to even formulate a thought or response for this kind of stupidity.

2K continues to be vague regarding any future update that will solve the "known issue," and problems persist as of this writing, with MyTeam mode failing just this morning.


2K didn't provide a comment when contacted by IGN, but we'll continue to reach out and will update this story with any additional information we receive.

With the walls crumbling around them they still can't figure out how to reconnect with their buyers. What a colossal failure.

Its almost as if they're deliberately avoiding any measure that would save face.

They've taken the worst release in gaming history, alienated their customer base and instead of bridging the gap by being open, direct and transparent they've distanced themselves.

I've never seen a company so willing to hang themselves out to dry like that.
