Yep I said it, game-play wise this game is the best its ever been online. I finally had a free day to game so I played 10 online quick matches and I went 5-4. In past versions of the game their was always some type of exploit but in this game there really isn't any, last year is was 3 point city in NBA 2K13 and really no defense.
This year if you play sound fundamental defense and offense and don't turn the ball over much you will be fine. Most people who play online are garbage, especially the ones that choose the Heat, I went 3-0 against them today, I had the Spurs.
My only real complaint is the lack of shooting fouls on layups. I get hammered in the paint and no calls most of the time. But I have to say most people complaints about online game-play is not legit, you just have to use fundamental basketball knowledge and adjust your defense and offense to what the opponent is trying to do. Basically everything Coach2K stated in his thread.
