    Re: NBA 2K15 Wishlist

accurate rosters on day of launch and updated weekly (daily would be ideal, but how hard is it to update if you have it correct from the beginning).

fix plays and tendencies. i fully believe that the ratings need to be revamped. possibly to a % to reflect real life. how hard is it to quantify a rated 90 shooter and how easy is it to quantify a 43% shooter from 12-18ft. PRETTY EASY WITH STATS. PRETTY EASY TO SEE WHAT TEAMS RUN WHAT PLAYS IN EVERY SITUATION NOW. all teams play the same in this game.

    fix free agency in mycareer.

overlapping tattoos (MORE TATTOOS), overlapping gear. more customization to myplayer, physically.

allow mycareer to use custom rosters. here's a tip, if you're limiting 'the most popular mode' due to online hackers/cheaters but allow people to pay to upgrade, then your system is broken. we offline players shouldn't be penalized. crew should be totally separate and not related to myplayer. make crew/park/whatever broken mode you **** out have its own grinding system. this game lost a lot of fun by locking out custom roster makers. bedwardsroy19s rosters gave the game so much extra life, it's ridiculous. now i have to deal with stupid ****ty 2k rated rosters where wrong players start and get more time due to ratings bs.

limit animations. if i pass to a person on the 3pt line and they're pretty open, they shouldn't fake juke allowing their defender to get up to them.

there's so much more, but who cares. no one will see this.

there's so much wrong with this game, honestly. i was pumped because a lot of things i asked for in 2k14's wishlist was actually implemented but this game is a grind for no reason.

      Re: NBA 2K15 Wishlist

Reinvigorate NBA All-Star Weekend and Allow It to Be Played Outside of Assocations or MyCareers

I steadfastly maintain that NBA 2K13's Dunk Contest and 3-Point Shootout were largely ignored not because gamers are not interested in these events, but because these events were executed so poorly by 2K. Here are some improvements I feel would help breathe life into All-Star Weekend:

      1. Re-institute a dunk contest control scheme that returns control the gamer: NBA 2K13 introduced an "intuitive, pick-up-and-play" control scheme. This consisted of pre-selecting a dunk name, watching a cut scene play out, and clicking random buttons a la Guitar Hero. At no point did gamers feel as though they were actually controlling what was happening on-screen. As such, there was very little sense of creativity, execution, and reward. It didn't feel like gamers were making players dunk. It felt like they were entering code to unlock a dunking cut scene.

I propose returning to a scheme similar to what was seen in earlier 2K's on the 360. Or perhaps, look back to NBA Live's successful dunk contest and implement some of their control aspects (which all felt very intuitive in contrast to 2K13's).

      2. Implement an authentic rule structure. Allow rules to be customized by users: As fun as 2K's dunk contest may have been in 2K7 (and in subsequent years), one issue I was continually running into was a lack of customization. I liked participating, but I didn't always want to commit to a four-person, three round competition. I felt I was always speeding through other contestants or controlling them myself and still plodding along much more slowly than I would have preferred.

I'd recommend implementing true-to-life contest rules:
      a. Two Rounds
      b. Six Competitors
      c. Two dunks per round
      d. Two Finalists
      e. 30-50 scoring range per dunk (five judges)

In turn, I'd also allow the number of contestants and rounds to be fully editable, so gamers could just play a one round, two person contest if they just want to have some quick fun.

      3. Allow any dunker to enter the contest (including classic players and create-a-players)

      4. Allow any jersey to be worn during the contest (home, away, alts, retros)

      5. Dunk Contest Practice Mode

      6. Include classic real-life dunk contest dunks into the list of possible dunk contest dunks (Harold Miner's signature reverse, Larry Nance's cuffs, Vince Carter's 360, Dwight Howard's sticker dunk, etc.)

      7. Bonus: Include historic dunk contestants as possible participants: Imagine a system that allowed gamers to unlock 1987 Spud Webb for competition after winning a dunk contest with a player standing under 6'0''. Or how about unlocking 1994 J.R. Rider for winning a competition whilst implementing a between-the-legs dunk? A lot of awesome and rewarding potential there.

Another LOUD vote for CPU vs CPU in GM mode. I like playing that way as a break from controlling a player in myplayer games.

          Re: NBA 2K15 Wishlist

          Mycareer:
          - practice mode. We should have free practice either on our own to practice dunks, shot stick shooting, dribble moves, etc. Or practice with teammates to run plays and learn them. I also want to know where my hot zones for my player are, and be able to increase my number of hot zones through practice or by nailing shots in game.
          - no online saves required, period.
          - ability to skip cut scenes. Starting a new mycareer is way too tedious because of hours of cut scenes that nobody wants to rewatch over an over.
          - when starting a mycareer, the ability to see the attributes of each position before choosing one. It sucks getting 20 games into a career and realising your small forward has a cap of 75 on passing...
          - more than 3 personality badges. There are 21 to choose from...
          - clothing and gear shouldnt cost VC, but we all know that any money making scheme will no be removed.
          - should be able to play "next key game". Some of us dont have the time to play an 82 game season.
          - reduce the amount of scripting. For a whole season, there will probably come a time for me to hit a buzzer beater game winning shot, so just let that story unfold naturally. Dont sub me out early in the 4th quarter when my team is up by 18 points, and then throw me back in with 12 seconds left and down by 1. Weve got plenty of season to see all the gameplay and storyline. We dont have to see it all straight away.
          - display dynamic goals i have in progress when i pause the game. Seeing "Make NBA History" flash up for a nanosecond in tiny writing in the corner of the screen doesnt cut it".
          - allow flexible attribute caps. I understand that 7"2 centres shouldnt have a speed of 99, but let us do trade offs between stats. If I want to increase my SF's passing cap by 5 and reduce my post offense cap by 5, I should be able to.
          - make career progression slightly slower. We shouldnt be playing in the All-star weekend 1st season. Give us something to look forward to in the 2nd season and make it a real achievement, not some token right of passage.
          - get rid of bad call penalty. Players call for the ball all the time in real life. Theres no harm in calling for the pill, and often im penalised when im rightfully calling for the ball in a wide open position with no-one between me and the ball handler.

          Online:
          - the ability to search for online games and sort by ping. Im in Australia and im constantly lagging out against American opponents. Havent been paired against an aussie yet, and i know theres thousands of us playing.
          - get rid of the park. Its a POS. No-one wants to wait 20 minutes for a game, and then miss out because there arent 3 more people who want to play afterwards. Its ridiculous and a massive waste of time.

          Gameplay:
          - reduce speed. Lebron James and Durant are ridiculous to guard. Sometimes they bounce up and down on the spot like theyre on cocaine. If you want to make them harder to defend, up their strength, or make them sink jumpshots even when im in their face. NBA 2k14 makes you believe that players never sink jumpshots with someone in their face...
          - make guarding the keyway easier. CPU just drive past me way too often for easy baskets. Should be more jumpshots and post play.
          - reduce blocks. My SF has a block attribute of 25 (havent touched it) and he's swatting shots from everywhere.
          - make posting up more realistic. In superstar and HOF the CPU just swipes the ball away far too often when doing the post animation.
          - make CPU miss 3-pointers more. Its absurd how every half open look the CPU gets the swish a 3.
          - make CPU teammate lane passing better. 19 times out of 20 i cut through the keyway only to have derrick rose ignore.... makes you want to tear your hair out. The only time the CPU voluntarily passes me the ball is when i run from the keyway out to the 3pt arc.
-make running plays more rewarding. Should be VC bonus for executing good set out plays. Maybe even introduce play run through during timeouts, especially for late 4th quarters in a tight game.
          - more commentary audio would be nice. Or at least vary it somehow because i hear every game about Mark Eaton, Wilt Chamberlain and Jordan, Stockton and Isaiah. EVERY SINGLE GAME.

Ratings restricted low post animations for offensive low post players.

It's irritating that every big has Olajuwon moves in the low post - heck even single player has them.

Separate animations kind of like dunk packages for low post animations.

bring back view games boxscore will games in progress online like NBA2k11 website. Add Twitch and ustream to watch other games online. Should also have a recap show to sum up weekly results. like TNT, . We should be able to create our own Blog and reviews and rankings online for our online leagues. What we see in NBA Today should play similiar in GM mode as well and online leagues.

                BRING BACK 30 TEAM CONTROL

I have to be blunt, the CPU logic this year was just as poor as it has always been and a big let down. If you aren't going to improve it significantly, what is the justification for taking away 30 team control?

Everyything people mention ability to wear any jersey in myplayer/mycareer it sucks seeing same two jerseys.

More names in data base that actually says the name of the player. The Show has this aspect down.

Ability to go undrafted, or 2nd round. last time i went in 2nd round i think was 2011 i was a mid 2nd round pick.

Going 2nd make it seem ok since the team still draft the original player i don't mind going 2nd round to keep some realism.

I do not always want to be a superstar what if i want to created a role playing specialist who is a bust i should have option without having to worry about only way for team to play better if i b/c superstar by year 2.

Better player movement at times feel like the physics are on same level with Madden 13.

Actual injuries to your player in Mycareer.

Ability to DUNK at will if i'm pressing right buttons and have a high dunk rating i want to dunk not layup. IDC if it goes in i get block or etc especially if i have posterized as a SIG skill

Speed difference need to be able to tell it better.

Ability to earn titles like star and superstar. Why am i a 99 character yet i'm still only a starter in league.

Chemistry indicator for team mates every single one of them and players around the league so you can see who wants to play with you etc.

                        Create a Team

                        Create a Player

This game was one of the last games with good create a team and create a player ability. Nothing better than being able to create a full team of players and take them into an association. I would buy the game only to do this. Yet every piece of this has been removed.

Bring back simulateable association. Love to do pure GM where I simulate most of the season. In current MyGM this just isn't possible as you need VC.

Yea I'm all for this too. I'm in college and have a lot of homework. A lot of times I just set up a CPU vs CPU match and watch the game while doing homework. I also really like watching my team play once I've built them. This how I've played for nearly a decade. I play some games too but I watch most of them. It's a crime it's not in. Please 2k, put CPU vs CPU in GM Mode for 2k15.

Just fix the long time problems and stop the simple ones:

-Offensive rebounding, it's broken and terrible, everyone on the A.I. turns into Dennis rodman while our players seem to loose all ability to move, let alone jump.
-The +1 cheese, most notably after the A.I. gets an offensive rebound, but in general, whenever they seem to be in a situation that should result in a missed FG or TO, they get an and 1 regardless of the players involved.
-A.I. last second shot clock cheese, they all seem to be the best clutch players in the universe.
-A.I. everyone turns into Russell westbrook and tries to get to the paint at all cost, with no regard for ball handling, or lane crowdness.
                              -Human missed layup syndrome
-MY player: playcalling system and teammate A.I. repeadtedly throwing up contested 3pt shots soon as they catch the ball?? in the year 2014, why is this even happening in a game. That's so far from real basketball.
-Don't remove modes, seriously, what the F?
                              -VC-all of it
                              -ONLINE---all of it.

I have been seeing these problems year after year, and it boggles me how I don't see many complaints for them, and the end result is this POS game this year that is only playable 1v1 with someone in the same house.

Nice, I didn't even see that link the first time around. I agree with all of it as well, but here are the things I really agree with:

                                Create Cascading Save States
Autosave is great, but sometimes you accidentally hit the wrong button while speeding through menus. In NBA 2K14, there is no way to reverse those costly mistakes. A dynamic save system that creates four or five different saves and overwrites the oldest one could remedy this. I also wouldn't be opposed to bringing back old-fashioned manual saves.
Get Your Online Out Of My Single-Player
No good reason exists for forcing every single interaction in a single-player mode to interface with an online server. It's only given users headaches and made Visual Concepts look bad. Want to offer VC for purchase for single-player modes? Have at it, but make that that chosen transaction be the only time MyGM or MyPlayer interacts with a server.
Create Separate Currencies For Items And Progression
Deciding between buying a new tee shirt or improving your jump shot is a stupid choice players shouldn't have to make. Visual Concepts could remedy this by awarding upgrade points for performance and by paying players a regular cash based salary like real NBA players so they can use that money on off-the-court items.
                                Fix Clothing Pricing
I don't mind that 2K has created a fashion economy for created players, but having to pay 5,000 VC for a pair of shoes is ridiculous. NBA players make millions of dollars, which means they don't have to save up to buy those new Nike LeBron kicks when they come out. If you want to have big-ticket luxury items, add cars and homes like New Star Soccer did.
                                Fix VC Allotments
Not everyone who plays franchise modes is interested in playing all the games. Some prefer to play the true role of a GM - scouting, analyzing free agency pools, discussing trades, and managing the diverse group of personalities. For those people, NBA 2K14's MyGM is unplayable. With the measily VC this management style accrues, it was years before I could afford to hire and fire staff, let alone invest in new resources like a film room or train my younger players in the offseason. If Visual Concepts is going to keep VC a part of this mode, this logic needs to be completely reworked.
